Excellent hotel, très bon accueil pour un anniversaire. A refaire !

We spent the weekend at the barriers hotel it was not the first time for me. My friend made the booking. I was very surprised of how far we had to walk to be in our room. I heard the hotel was in renovation but they put us in very old rooms! With damaged white wall paper. The room didn't even have a coffee machine for a 5 stars hotel in Enghien I don't understand. Also the carpet in the corridor was old and not welcoming. I spent myself some time in barriers hotel but I was in complete different room. I am very disappointed.

If you look for a perfect hotel, very close to Paris, this hotel offers all you want. From here you can make your daily trips, even to Deauville. You can enjoy a drink in the garden area, perfect to sit and just to relax

My husband, myself and my one year old baby arrived there at 5 pm on Wednesday 24th May. There were only one receptionist while there were 3 guests waiting. We had a buggy and 3 bags. We overheard that the lift was down and they did not know when it will be fixed but there were no technician working on it… Then came out turn when we’re told the swimming pool is only for 16yo + and that booking forgot to mention it, so our baby cannot go there. Our room was at the last floor (3rd one) and no one can help us because the lady was alone at the reception. A staff member saw me struggle when I arrived up there and told me, there is another elevator for the cleaning ladies only to use but that I should ask reception next time. So my husband carried everything up and I was carrying my son. We opened the door room hoping for a mind blowing experience (300eu the night for a deluxe room with balcony and Seine view) and it was an old room, in which they had put a baby bed that we had requested, furniture was old, bedding was white sheets only, no chair nor a table in the balcony that really needs to be refurbished. We just left to go in the city and enjoy a little bit cause the experience so far was terrible. So at 7.30pm elevator still not working, so we go down with baby and buggy and when I ask for the other elevator I’m told it’s not safe… poor cleaning ladies using an unsafe elevator… The next day when we checked out, they tried to bill me the breakfast that was included in the price I had paid and told me: but you took it in the room right… well no I didn’t and we were rushed (at 9.45am) cause they were closing the breakfast room. At 12pm, elevator was still not fixed. To sum up: we live in Asnieres, decided to go a getaway weekend not too far with a baby in a ‘Barrières’ hôtel which is supposed to be a luxurious 4 stars hotel and nothing was at the expected level, not even the basics to have a lift working on such a busy weekend. My husband told me : well the breakfast was ok, but when I told him it was 28eu per person he was like 😳🫢

If one arrive early no restaurant /bar service available before 15h00 After long travel one would excpect the coffe can be arranged in the hotel But not here Hotel is nicely located ans public area designed nicely Rooms are quiet old fashion but just ok

Spent a weekend , hotel is fine , our room has the right space but decoration esp carpet and furniture are very dated. The spa however is very nice, breakfast is really good. Location is great, cafes, restos and bars are just walking distance.

We had a terrible experience. When arriving, we were left to find our room and carry our own luggage in what can only be described as a rabbit warren. Two lifts as no lift went directly to our floor, Approximately 100 metres of corridors parts of which smelt like sewage was leaking from somewhere, When in our rooms (we had two suites), the showers could not be regulated so in our room, my wife burnt herself with boiling hot water and the same problem happened in the other room where my daughter also burnt herself so badly it required a visit to the pharmacy. My other daughter consequently refused to shower throughout our 4 day stay because she did not want to get burnt. When we tried to use the swimming pool, to shower, we were told that children are not welcome and the hotel only catered to couples. The staff were rude and unhelpful even not answering emails we sent regarding these problems. Definitely not a hotel for families and it should not be four star but three star at best due to its lack of quality and service.

La chambre, la literie, le petit déjeuner impeccable. La décoration un peu desuee, balcon sol décrépi. Ce qui gâche la fête sont toutes les petites prestations payantes et qui devraient être comprises avec la chambre. Un parking extérieur grand, vide et 27 €, un spa compris avec le prix de la chambre mais 1 seule fois, pas le droit de se baigner le matin sinon 62€, un objet oublié de toute petite taille 16 € pour le renvoi ou 33€. Une informatique qui demande à se roder, 3 personnes pour un Check out! C’est dommage et fait de l’ombre inutilement.

Personnel très accueillant et agréable. Spa bien équipé et spacieux. Par contre, moment désagréable lors de l´arrivée d´un cours collectif de sport aquatique dans la zone de loisirs. Musique poussée à son maximum par le professeur et jets d´eau coupés pendant la séance. Chambre propre, plateau de courtoisie, 2 bouteilles d´eau d´Evian dans le mini-bar, bonne literie. Mais déco et meubles vieillissants, balcon avec sol décrépi (peinture très écaillée). Petit-dejeuner top, beaucoup de choix et de la qualité (pain, brioche, confiture...). ****** à proximité immédiate. Joli espace extérieur.

Service de réservation catastrophique et d’une indigence totale. Réservation faite six mois à l’avance pour une famille à l’occasion d’un mariage. Nous avons réservé six chambres dont 2 suites coût 4200€ pour 2 nuits Malgré une vérification avec le service de réservation, quelques jours avant notre arrivée, rien ne s’est passé comme prévu Nos invités ont été obligés de payer leur chambre pour pouvoir y accéder, alors qu’il était convenu que nous payerions les six chambres au moment du check out, et nous avions laissé pour cela notre carte bancaire en guise de garantie. Les mariés n’ont pas été surclassés comme prévu. Aucun geste commercial n’a été fait en notre faveur. Le montant que nous avons dû payer à l’arrivée (5000€) dépassait de 800 € le montant indiqué par écrit à la réservation. L’équipe de la réception a été adorable et diligente, notamment Isidore et Jean-Martin qui ont tout fait pour rattraper les erreurs et les incapacités lamentables de l’équipe de réservation et ont pu à notre départ nous rembourser le montant trop perçu par l’hôtel. Il n’y avait eu aucune transmission entre le service de réservation et le service de réception. C’était hallucinant ! J’ajouterais enfin que les chambres sont vétustes et étriquées. Bref… Une expérience catastrophique, indigne d’un établissement ayant une telle renommée.

FR : Réservé cet hôtel pour aller à un concert au Stade de France. Très bien situé en face du lac d'Enghien-les-Bains et bâtiment très joli. Nous avons été très bien acceuillis avec grand sourire et bonne humeur. Chambre dans la dépendance qui est dans le même bâtiment que le SPA. Belle grande chambre, lit confortable, petit balcon, salle de bain avec petits produits de bain, bouteilles d'eau gratuites dans le mini bar et adorable petit mot de bienvenu avec petits chocolats. Le seul petit point négatif la salle de bain un peu vieillotte. Nous avons profité du spa, très bon acceuil, propre et avec maitre najeur et beau solarium en terrasse. Petit déjeuner buffet très bon et très variés, avec oeufs dur, jambon, fromages, boissons chaudes et froides. Nous avonc pas pu aller au ****** mais nous y reviendrons sûrement avec plaisir. EN : Booked this hotel to go to a concert at the Stade de France. Very well located in front of the lake of Enghien-les-Bains and very pretty building. We were very well received with big smiles and nice vibes. Room in the outbuilding which is in the same building as the SPA. Nice large room, comfortable bed, small balcony, bathroom with small bath products, free bottles of water in the mini bar and adorable little welcome note with small chocolates. The only small negative point the bathroom a bit old. We took advantage of the spa, very warm welcome, clean and with lifeguard and beautiful solarium on the terrace. Very good and very varied buffet breakfast, with hard-boiled eggs, ham, cheeses, hot and cold drinks. We could not go to the ****** but we will surely come back with pleasure.

L' accueil téléphonique de la réception de l Hôtel est exécrable ; on vous parlera de manière injonctive ; vos questions dérangeront !!! Tout est fait pour vous faire fuire; On vous raconte même que l hôtel est complet quand il ne l est pas !!!!

Odeur de tabac froid et d égout dans la chambre supérieure vue lac. On a pas pu nous changer de chambre et on m a juste expliqué que c était l’odeur du spa qui remontait Sauf a ne plus avoir la vue sur lac impossible de changer !!! . Couloirs interminables où on se perd et 2 ascenseurs pour arriver à la chambre les plafonds de la piscine s effritent c est une honte pour un 4 étoiles. Chaussons pour femme pour le spa taille 37/38 pas pratique lorsque on chausse du 41 ! Ce n’est plus ce que c était !!
