Recreational opportunities include hiking, biking and Blue Ribbon trout fishing for native Cutthroat and Brown Trout on the world famous Yellowstone River. The Yellowstone River is only 1/2 of a mile from your front door! There are also several hiking and biking trails accessing the Galatin National Forest. In the winter, these trails can be accessed for cross country skiing. Bridger Bowl ski area is under an hour drive away. World famous Chico Hot Springs is only three miles away. There you will find a wonderful, large, relaxing hot pool which is drained nightly and filled with fresh warm mineral water daily. If you have any problem with achy joints, you will most likely find relief here. Chico Hot Springs also hosts a 5 star restaurant for which reservations are recommended.
