Cleopatra Beach

Very nice quiet hotel with a beautiful view over the bay. Rooms well maintained and clean. Nice swimming pool with beautifully landscaped garden and plenty of opportunity to spend the afternoon in the shade. Price-quality ratio is excellent! The staff is very friendly and they care about their customers. Furthermore, a number of excellent restaurants are just around the corner where you can enjoy a delicious meal in a very attractive environment for a nice price. All in all: highly recommended! We will definitely go back again!

We've just returned to the UK after a lovely week spent at the Cleopatra Beach Hotel in Geni. We had a thoroughly relaxing time. 28 or 29 degrees every day, 14 - 21 September. For us, there was nothing to fault the hotel for. A very attractive establishment, the location on the waterfront was simply stunning. Our room was very comfortable and was cleaned thoroughly on a daily basis. It had a fabulous view overlooking the pool, with the sea and the mountains in the background. Simply lovely. The grounds were very well kept and the pool was excellent. The inclusive breakfasts provided a great range of choice. Poolside snacks and drinks were served throughout the day too, and bottles of water could be purchased from the hotel too, which was handy as there were no shops nearby. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful. There were no more than 20 to 30 guests at any one time, a slightly older crowd, couples, mainly Dutch, German/Austrian, and Scandinavian from what we could see, with a Romanian couple there too. We were the only British people, though English and Greek were the languages used at the hotel. The local Desimi Beach was about 15-20 min walk away. Lovely location, beautiful pebble beach with clear water and trees growing along it for extra shade. As it was mid-September it was not too busy, which we really appreciated. It has a few tavernas and the Kantina beachside cafe that we particularly liked. A lovely woman runs that. In the small hamlet of Geni, a 15-minute walk or so from the hotel, there are three or four tavernas serving excellent food. Lots of cats everywhere! Our favourite place was the Taverna Dimitris positioned in a spectacular setting overlooking the sea. A very friendly family-run eatery, 3 generations. Excellent food...we especially loved the grilled sardines and the orange cake with vanilla ice cream, which was to die for! We went back there time and time again. We did not rent a car as we were happy just to relax, chill, and soak up the local atmosphere, but we would recommend that you hire one if you wanted to explore the island in more depth. There are no buses running locally. The very bustling and touristy town of Nydri was a 10 min taxi ride away (10 euros each way) We paid 60 euros each way for a taxi from the airport to the hotel, 45 mins away. We did do an island boat trip, which was good. It took us to some of the spectacular beaches on the west coast and over to Fiskardo on nearby Kefalona too, which was a great place to hang out for a few hours. If you are after a wild time this place is really not for you, but if you want peace and relaxation and value for money then it is a wonderful place to spend a few days.

Beautiful hotel so peaceful and quiet in a tranquil setting . We went in August and the most round the pool in one day was 6 people ! It was very relaxing . 4 Amazing Greek tavernas about a 15 min walk away. Desimi beach 20 min walk or the bustling town on Nidri a 15 min taxi which cost €10. A lot of people rented a car because of location but we didn’t and still got about. Hotel was spotless and clean , staff were amazing so friendly and helpful. Only thing was no tea/coffee facilities in the room but throat was the only downside. Pool was massive and had it to ourselves most days. Would highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful break.

cleopatra beach hotel is a wonderful accommodation in a peaceful environment. very hospitable staff and good service. perfect cleanliness. you have wonderful rooms, a beautiful garden and swimming pool in a great place, and a divine view

Clean rooms and premises, wonderful view, great garden, friendly staff, extensive breakfast, flexible and service orientated, not too busy, quiet and excellent for a relaxing holiday! Enjoyed every day.. Cold water bubble jacuzzi was heaven on the warm days..

Everything about this hotel is great, the location, the rooms, the staff. It is very quiet and situated by the beach where you can rent a boat to further explore the island of Lefkada, such as Skorpios, Meganisi and others. We have been there twice in 2019 and 2021 and really enjoyed our time.

Erg gezellig familiehotel. Vriendelijk ontvangst en erg aardige mensen. Kamer goed, bed lag heerlijk. Je kunt fijn relaxen aan de waterkant op het gazon. Voor minder validen niet zo'n goed hotel, veel traplopen. Ontbijt gewoon goed. Op loopafstand een paar erg goede en sfeervolle restaurants aan het water.

Επιπλεον χρέωση... Θέλεις πρωινό 20€ ανα άτομο... Σου προσφέρει το κατάλυμα μπουκαλάκια με σαμπουάν, αφρόλουτρο κλπ από 1 τεμαχιο δεν στα αλλάζουν ποτέ αναγκάστηκαμε κ πήραμε δικά μας... Πόρτες ντουλάπας τουαλέτας κ μπαλκονιού προ Χριστού Εξωτερικός χώρος Εχεις πόνο στα γόνατα...μην ερθεις Έχεις πρόβλημα αναπηρίας.. Μην έρθεις... Εχεις μεγάλες βαλιτσες... Μην έρθεις Εχει ένα παραθυράκι που υποτίθεται τις περνάς από εκεί τις βαλίτσες... Το μάθαμε κ αυτό... Υπάρχει και σχετικη σελίδα κολλημένη στο τοίχο να μην σταθμευουμε μπροστά στο παράθυρο... Το κορυφαίο έγινε αναφορά για κατασκευη ασανσέρ και η υπεύθυνη απάντησε δεν μπορει να κατασκευαστει κ οποίος μιλήσει μαζί τους τους ενημερώνει οτι έχει 150 σκαλιά και δεν υπάρχει λύση... Μαζί με τα σκαλιά κ 150 σφήκες... Υποστελεχωμενο 1 ατομο στο πρωινό, το ίδιο άτομο στις αφίξεις, το ίδιο άτομο στη πισίνα το ίδιο άτομο για όλα... Παραλίες Λευκάδας Απίθανα νερα, πρόσβαση μόνο από αέρα η μεσω γιωτ.. Καταπράσινο νησί Φαγητό καλό σε γενικές γραμμές αλλά όλα ακριβά δίχως την αντίστοιχη ποιότητα Εν τέλει έχεις οικογένεια πήγαινε αλλού... Surviror κατάσταση... Με λίγα λόγια όπου δεν υπάρχει παρέμβαση ανθρώπου απίστευτη εικόνα όπως το ότι είναι καταπράσινο στα υπόλοιπα κλαις...
