Villas at Gingershack Farms

If you have kids that love animals and love a family vacation around animals; or if you're looking for a meditative gettaway, for peace and quiet in the mountainous woods; a pastoral, tranquil place within 20 minute drive from a cute, picturesque small town that has several good restaurants (including really great Italian pizza!) and a few antique stores; and access to some great hiking trails; have no second thought, as Gingershack Farms is an incredible place to stay. So quiet and peaceful, tucked in the woods, with the most adorable goats and rabits and hens right outside the cabin; and the cabins - so clean, and well-equipped, and spacious, well-lit and well airconditioned (or heated) - so convenient and cozy and really feel like home away from home. And the couple who lives in this farm and run the cabins are so nice and kind, and accessible at any time and will give you all the tips you need about the area. (And, they were also so kind as to let me know I left behind my toiletry bag and to suggest to ship it to me on the mail, which they did in no time. Thank you!)

These cabins are awesome! Stayed a night with friends, then Russ allowed me to leave my vehicle there while I hiked the Pinhoti trail. These cabins are modern with a small kitchen, full bath and 2 BR. And a spacious living room. Great place to hang out and visit the various activities nearby.

I had an amazing stay at Gingershack Farms. The cabins had everything I needed and the location was just stunning. The hosts were super friendly. My cabin was clean and comfortable. We loved sitting by the fire in the evenings. Check in and check out was easy and stress free. If your looking for a nice place to relax, Gingershack farms is perfect.

We only had a couple of nights to stay but we are so glad we chose Gingershack Farms. Excellent hosts - they are very welcoming, thoughtful, and friendly. Beautiful grounds and accommodations. Easy access with no steep or windy roads. The cabin was larger than I had visualized, exceptionally clean, very nicely decorated, and quite comfortable. The primary bed was outstanding and the bunk beds are sturdy, also with great mattresses. The linens were soft, yet crisp and cool. ATT cell phone service is spotty (you're in the mountains) but the wifi was excellent. We enabled wifi calling and had no problems. Having 5 separate cabins available, this is also the ideal location for a group trip if you are looking for a little more privacy. I personally like the idea of everyone having their own space to retire to. We look forward to returning with friends and family in the near future!
