Morning Dew Boutique Hotel Ella

What a steep hill to get up to the hotel! Even the Tuc Tucs would only take one person at a time or if they took two, then one had to get out half way up and walk the rest of the hill! We were not happy with our first bedroom as the toilet was so small and we are not small people, and the views from both windows were looking out to a building site and the other a large tree, so no view. We were transferred into another room, not great either but had large shower and toilet much bigger, as for the view it looked over the car park! Sometimes I think when you are in a small group they tend to just shove you into any room?? This was our only complaint. Dining room lovely as was the food. We were initially asked to complete an order form for breakfast and duly submitted it but next morning it was a buffet, so they must have changed their minds?? Room was clean and staff very friendly. The pool on the roof was cold but great to have a swim with a view. The little bar and dining area on the rooftop was lovely and we enjoyed the cocktails and dinner. I would recommend it but would want to make sure that I got a room with a view?

Fantastic views. Took scores of photos. Chique little town. Surrounded by tea plantations and waterfalls. Only regret is we should have stayed longer. Narrow road upto to hotel only with hotel transport. Lovely rooftop infinity pool and cafe/bar

We booked this place for our first stop on the Honeymoon. On the week of the wedding and 5 days before we were supposed to stay at the Hotel, we got a message saying they were doing some renovation so that our room was no longer available. This meant we had to spend nearly double the price last minute in order to find another hotel. It might be a nice hotel, but the customer service and way they told us our room was no longer available was horrendous. I would not recommend due to the fact it seems like they are happy to cancel your booking with less than a week's notice.
