Lagomandra Beach Hotel

Summer vacation in Lagomandra Beach Hotel was perfect! Hotel has great concept, everything is so close, the restaurants, beach and pool. From the start, at the reception, it was clear this is one great professional service. There is a beautiful flowers and trees all around. Rooms are spacious and so clean, love it! Whole hotel is very clean, the staff do amazing jobe by keeping it clean and nice to stay. We had all inclusive concept and it was perfect choice. Food is tasty and the offer is great. We enjoyed the most lunch in Safran restaurant, with so nice staff there and perfect service. Pool bar is something special, again because of amazing staff: they are quick, professional and hard working - big respect for this team! Beach is beautiful and clean, just like the sea. We played volleyball and enjoyed all water sports. We had junior suite with sea view and it was enough space for family with 2 children. In the evening, kids played basketball in sister hotel over the road and had great time by the pool with animators. One thing that can be improved is the quality of single beds in junior suite, where kids were sleeping. All the rest is for recommendation and for true enjoy in Greek sea, food and friendly staff. This hotel and the sister hotel over the road has been the best experience i have had in Greece. The hotel is around one and a half hours away from the airport passing beautiful scenery on the way there. It is extremely clean, staff very friendly and go out of their way to ensure your comfort. Lovely pools in both hotels. We stayed in Lagomandra beach hotel, the room was a deluxe and absolutley lovely, with auto switch on lights and ultra modern facilities. The cleaning staff come when you need them via an internal call point and did a fabulous job, just a very friendly, out of the way hotel. For an all inclusive hotel the food was really lovely, all of it. The only critisism i would have is people reserving sunloungers around the pool then disappearing for the morning so others cannot use them, but that is a minor inconvenience that you find in most hotels. The beach is just outside the hotel gates which is beautiful with a lovely breeze to keep you cool. Thanks for a lovely holiday we will be back :0) x

We really enjoyed our stay towards the end of September; the hotel was busy but not over crowded which was nice. We were given 2 upgraded rooms on arrival, thankyou! The hotel rooms were spotless, staff came in each day. We had paid for breakfast and dinner which were buffet and main courses changed daily which was really nice. The food was excellent and a very wide choice to cater for all dietary needs, I'm vegetarian and don't eat meat or fish but there was always a main veggie course to choose from and plenty of salads/veg etc to go with it. The meat dishes looked really nice and my husband, daughter and partner all said they were good and it was nice to see many Greek dishes served. We also ate at the restaurant on the beach, where the same hotel staff served; the food was excellent. The staff were all friendly, the pool area really clean and service really good. As we were out of season the sunbeds/umbrellas on the beach were 10 euro's for 2 beds/1 umbrella. Not sure about some of the negative posts on here as I'm quite fussy as far as cleanliness/food etc goes and I couldn't fault the hotel. We did stay in the newer part of the hotel, above the private pools, so maybe some of the more negative posts relate to the older style rooms. We stayed in 824/825, myself and my husband had a suite (upgrade) which consisted of 2 separate bathrooms/wet rooms, 3 large flat screen televisions, a double balcony, separate living room with large comfy settee and 2 bedrooms. We also had 2 largish empty fridges which is a brilliant plus as far as I'm concerned as it meant we could go to one of the 2 shops within the hotel to buy snacks/drinks to keep in our room; my daughter also had an empty fridge in her room. The area is very quiet so if you're looking to go out partying each night it's maybe not for you!

Terrible food, noisy guests in the rooms, and thin walls—you can hear everything. The food was really, really bad and the same every day. The eggs were completely dried out. If you plan on having a difficult time feeding your kids, avoid this hotel at all costs. The location is awful too; there are no shops, pharmacies, or anything you might need nearby. There's only one restaurant (the hotel's own), and the food there is also terrible. My child got the flu, and we had to leave two nights early, but they refused to refund our money. Overall, it was a really bad experience.

Lagomandra beach hotel is our summer home for the past 6 years! This is the perfect place to spend your summer holidays with family and friends. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The main restaurant and the taverna offer a great variety of local and international food. The staff is always very polite and willing to help with everything . We met there very skilled professionals and now our friends. Just to name a few : Mr. Apostolis ( restaurant’s manager) Diamantis, Lakis , Nikos, Christos, Julia , Mr. Notis ,(reception manager) and Giorgos responsible for the beach area.
