I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Stunning Republic, and I can't recommend it enough for beach lovers! Located just 20 feet from the sandy shores, this hotel is perfect for anyone looking to soak up the sun and enjoy the ocean. From the moment I arrived, the friendly staff made me feel at home. The check-in process was quick, and I was immediately captivated by the stunning view from my room. With a private balcony overlooking the beach, I could enjoy the sound of the waves and the salty breeze without even leaving my space. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, featuring modern amenities and cozy decor. One of the highlights of my trip was the easy access to the beach. It was just a short stroll down a charming path, allowing me to spend my days sunbathing, swimming, and exploring. Breakfast by the ocean was a standout, featuring fresh pastries and local fruits. Overall, this is a hidden gem for anyone seeking a beach getaway. The convenient location, friendly service, and quality accommodations make it an ideal choice for a relaxing vacation.

A Disappointing Stay in the Family Room Our recent stay at this hotel was, unfortunately, far from pleasant. We booked the family room, expecting comfort and cleanliness, but what we encountered was nothing short of disappointing. From the moment we stepped into the room, it was clear that the space was extremely outdated and poorly maintained. The beds were an absolute letdown. The mattresses were uncomfortable, and the bedding looked worn out and neglected. It felt like we were sleeping on furniture that hadn’t been updated in decades. The air conditioning units were ancient and clearly hadn’t been serviced in years. They made strange noises and barely functioned, leaving the room either too hot or too cold. Just looking at them made me feel uneasy. The couch in the room was another low point. It was so old and unkempt that we couldn’t bring ourselves to sit on it. The fabric was faded, and the cushions were lumpy and worn. It was clear that it hadn’t been cared for in a long time. The mini fridge was completely non-functional and had visible signs of wear and neglect, with mold growing around the rubber seal. It was unusable and added to the overall sense of discomfort. The bathroom was perhaps the worst part of the experience. It was extremely outdated and showed no signs of proper upkeep. After showering, we didn’t feel refreshed at all—the fixtures were old, the tiles were cracked, and the overall state of the room was far from inviting. It was clear that no effort had been made to modernize or maintain the space. We were so put off by the conditions of the room that we even started looking for flights to another country just to get away from the hotel. The thought of spending another night in that environment was unbearable, and we were desperate to leave as soon as possible. The only positive aspect of our stay was the reception staff. They were friendly, helpful, and genuinely kind people. Their professionalism and warmth were a stark contrast to the condition of the room, and we truly appreciated their efforts to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Overall, this hotel fell far short of our expectations. The family room was in a shocking state of disrepair and neglect, and we would not recommend it to anyone. While the staff were wonderful, they couldn’t make up for the appalling conditions of the room. We hope the management takes immediate action to address these issues, as the current state of the accommodations is simply unacceptable.

The hotel was very nice, breakfast was decent. The beach is very nice, but the hotel didn’t seem to have beach chairs.

Bathrooms in the family room were disgusting. Showers had grime along the tiles, definitely not cleaned before we got in. Lots of dust in the windows and the floor wasn't clean either. No fresh towels provided the next day and I had to follow up to get toilet paper multiple times from staff.

The staff of the hotel is extremely polite, hospitable and friendly. We got upgraded to the Superior Suite with an ocean view as there were no more regular rooms left, and it was very pleasing. The view was amazing, breakfast was delicious and the hotel does also offer SPA services for reasonable prices, which I highly recommend to explore. Beach is 1 minute walk from the hotel, basically next to it and you can swim there. Downtown is a little bit far to go by walk, however if you take a tricycle, it will take about 5 minutes. A big concern that we had was ants. A lot of ants rushing near the trash bin. Also, a shower head was quite dirty. Shampoo was provided in a little plastic package of 5 ml maybe, which is barely enough for long hair ladies. Shower gel was not provided at all, only a tiny peace of soap, so I highly recommend to buy or bring your own hygiene products.

Amazing beach view in front and very friendly staff. They The area surrounding is less touristy then other locations in Palawan, although a bit out of the way. Highly recommend this hotel . Great place to relax

Booked my client here for a two night stay. No complain from them

I booked Deluxe room and it did not disappoint me, the view was impeccable. We had a balcony in the room plus a really really good view, you can just chill out at the balcony overlooking the beach. The room has sofa inside and super spacious. The breakfast is plated tho. Too bad, there's no pool as stated om the website. But hey, they offer free kayak, so you can do some activity at the beach. There's a lowtide during morning. Location wise, if you do not want in a crowded place it is recvommendable. If you're a person who loves to party at night, it's just 5mins ride to the town where bars are situated. Overall, we had a nice stay! 👍😊

Отель очень уставший. У нас в номере были муравьи. Спасло только то, что взяли средство от них из дома. В номере протекал душ и капал по ночам. Очень влажно! Завтрак включен, но вызывает сомнения условия чистоты, в которых он был приготовлен. По всему отелю бегают грязные собаки и ночью спят на стульях, где утром едят постояльцы. Из хорошего: отличный вид на океан и расположение рядом с аптекой (магазин).

Неплохой отель на первой линии. Есть своя территория и пляж (не купались). Завтраки нормальные. В пешей доступности есть магазины. До Эль Нидо трайсикл 100 песо.

Отель в целом хороший, расположение неплохое. Номер располагался на втором этаже с балконом. Кровать хорошая с удобным матрасом. Завтрак неплохой двух вариантов по меню. Написано есть чайник в номере, но чайника не было. Есть кулер с горячей и холодной водой возле столовой, можно набирать воду. Ванная комната небольшая, горячая вода была. Но напор воды не очень хороший. Есть шампунь в пакетиках, мыло, зубные щетки. В целом можно порекомендовать этот отель.

Отель стоит прямо на пляже буквой П, перекладина вдоль шоссе, оно же центральная дорога города. По бокам - номера, в торце "ножек" номера с выходом и видами на море, нас посетили в один из таких номеров (№10). Тут же при заселении увидели табличку с вариантами туров, в городе их предлагают четырех типов, выбрали себе туры А и Б из отеля же можно добраться в Пуэрто Принсеса (700 песо с человека). Воды в номере нет, но в ресторане стоит кулер, куда все бегают набирать бутылки, на ресепшен продают воду за 100 песо за 1,5 л, возле рынка вода продается за 70 за 2 л (в 7-11 в Маниле такой же объем стоит 46 песо). В номере есть мыло, шампунь в пакетиках, зубные щетки, паста, кладут один раз при заезде, но на три дня хватит, а шампунь и кондиционер я и так вожу свой. Сантехника старовата, раковина в одном месте была разбита, но в целом нам это не мешало. Вместо одеяла простыня, и ночью я подзамерла, потом стала спать в футболке. Должна отметить, что в последний день обнаружила на себе укусы - так до сих пор и не знаю, то ли были клопы в подушке (но тогда я бы все три дня была искусанной), то ли меня покусал планктон на мелководье, где я сидела в воде до ночи. Завтрак с 7 до 10, рис, яичница, помидоры, два вида мяса, огуречная вода, блины, бананы, кофе, чай. Не очень разнообразно, но горячее каждый день было разное, мы наедались, все сытное. В первое утро вышли вовремя и вся еда уже стояла, во второй раз опять вышли вовремя, но ещё минут 15 ждали еду, персонал в это время хихикал в основном здании. Пляж мелкий, 4 лежака и два гамака. Публика на пляже есть или с утра, или ближе к вечеру, ажиотажа нет. Вода мелкая, доплыла до буйков и до колена. Ночью отлив и если выглянуть из номера, а мы окнами на воду в пяти метрах, то воды нет. Отель в целом понравился, с удовольствием приедем снова. Справа и слева стоят отели стоимостью по 20 тыс. за ночь и не уловила, за что там столько переплачивать.
