We stayed in 3 different places in Patagonia (El Calafate and El Chalten) and this was by far our best experience. The apartment suites are large, clean, modern and well provisioned. The restaurant on site was great food (including a free welcome drink for all guests, i highly recommended the peach/orange juice with rum or without, both great). The staff was very helpful. My only comment of concerns is to say that Tripadvisor did not let me book 1 suite for 5 people even though there was room for 6 people in each of the 2 suites we got. So we actually could have just had 1 suite for all of us, and wasted $ unnecessary due to jow Tripadvisor list thigs. This is a Tripadvisor problem so I highly recommend booking directly with Tierra Tehuelche as thier staff are more knowledgeable and will get you exactly what you want, Tripadvisor booking was generally a bad way to go in Patagonia for all 3 of the places we stayed, as the advertising of what the accommodations actually look like are out of date, erroneous and confusing.

The room was very nice but there was some weird noise from a water heater or some other machine that could easily be heard and it was loud enough to keep me awake. Otherwise quiet. Good shower, clean. Location is ok. About a 15 minute walk from town. Breakfast was plain. View of Lago Argentina in the distance was nice

We booked a two bedroom apartment and it was excellent. Large size apartment with everything that you’d expect from an apartment style accommodation. Checkin was swift and service was great with very friendly staff. Calm, serene location with views of the spectacular Lago Argentino. Although the location is a little out of town, we had a rental car so this didn’t bother us.

Bellissima struttura, pulita e ben tenuta. Camera molto grande, personale gentilissimo. Molto accogliente la hall con un caminetto e delle comode poltrone per attendere i vari trasporti in caso di spostamenti. La colazione è varia, sia dolce che salata. Per raggiungere il centro serve fare una breve passeggiata. Per noi ottima esperienza!

Es un Hotel nuevo, ubicado en una zona de Calafate que se esta poblando de a poco con vistas al lago y relativamente cerca del centro. Las habitaciones son amplias, con todas las comodidades para este tipo de estancia. El desayuno es correcto y cuenta con un servicio de comidas que te saca de apuros. Tambien es buena y cordial la atencion de todo el personal. Por lo que considero que es una muy buena opcion para alojarse en Calafate.
