The hotel looks quite outdated from the outside, however it is more modern and minimalistic on the inside. The room ( we had a double superior) was quite big and had enough storage for our stuff. When we first got there the room was quite clean (still found couple of hair in the bathroom and the previous guests’ towel in the balcony, but that’s kinda understandable) but that cannot be said for the rest of our stay. The cleaners just re arranged the room, which we always left tided up, and didn’t clean the bathroom, the most ‘critical’ area. When we pointed it out to the reception, we were told that we needed to hang a sign on the door knob (which we were never told before) if we wanted the room cleaned. So we did everyday for the following days, but they still didn’t manage to clean the bathroom more than rinsing the sink. The towels were supposed to be changed every two days, but the schedule was most definitely off, and on the last day they didn’t even leave us any. Something of mine, which was inside a small plastic bag on top of the table, was accidentally thrown away (in their defense I can say that it looked kinda empty), and even thought it was of small value they didn’t even apologize or offer to make up for it. The noise from the other rooms was unbearable almost every night, with music playing and kids screaming. The receptionists where kind and accommodating, especially the younger ones, however it was not always easy communicating with them. The hotel is in a nice part of El Arenal, full of other hotels and it is easy to reach almost everything from there (the beach, Palma de Mallorca, the airport etc.) both by bus or walking. The hotel in general was okay, especially if you are young and don’t care too much about cleanliness, but I honestly don’t think it is worth the price.
