I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the complimentary free-flow beverages were a thoughtful touch for travelers. The location is quite convenient, and the receptionist provided excellent service. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Well didn't had a very good experience. Reason being the below: - because the hotel in the name of sustainability and environmental friendly ignores all your requests. - we requested a room with twin bed which over call was confirmed and later when we were at the property we were denied stating that the rooms are all full - we were told that there 200 customers always waiting for them to refill the room soo thats the reason they really cannot help us. And they signalled us if we want we can change the hotel but refund cannot be promised since the booking is not directly don't from them - in washroom the towels were dirty water kept running in commode non stop. - I paid another 200 euros upfront to help myself and the same issue was being seen there as well. -- overall a very bad experience with staff available 24/7 just to come with fancy words to deny ur request in the name of that there waiting list is high and we can change the hotel without any refunds. I will ensure that this complaint has been escalated to the highest point and will post the same on there website as well as google review as well.

The location of the hotel was ideal to visit the sights we wanted too in the City. Room was clean and had everything we needed for the trip.

I was expecting much more from a 4-star hotel with the money I paid for this hotel. Except for the bed and towels, nothing was clean. You could see obvious dust all around the room and mould in the shower and even around shampoo bottles. In terms of overall facilities, the hotel looks really ordinary and no different from a Travelodge or similar hotels, even though it's a 4-star hotel. I had seen Yotel in Manchester, and I was expecting much more in Edinburgh, but I was completely disappointed. MOST IMPORTANTLY, we had breakfast for two mornings, and we had the most awful breakfast ever. We were surprised how a person can ruin making a simple egg! It tasted awful. Also the number of items was surprisingly low, and the only thing that we could eat was a banana and ready-to-eat porridge (which could have been bought simply from a supermarket instead of paying 4x 20 pounds for such a breakfast). Even the bread was worse than primary supermarket breads!

A very well located hotel, easy walking distance to many of the major attractions of Edinburgh. The room was clean and functional and served as a comfortable base for my short visit. Breakfast has a good selection of options.

Towel was dirty and room service cleaner was rude.

This was my first time staying at this hotel after reading many reviews, and here are my thoughts: The room was clean and nice, and the location is excellent – right in the city centre. I arrived early, around 12:30 PM, and asked if early check-in was possible (standard check-in is at 3 PM). The receptionist said yes, but only with an additional charge – no complimentary option was offered. This was the first time I’ve ever had to pay for early check-in. Also receptionist mentioned there are charges applicable if I don't check-out at 11am sharp 😞. While the room itself was clean, it was not soundproof. I could hear noise from the corridor, including cleaning activities and other guests closing their doors. There was no kettle in the room and no room service available, which meant I had to go to the ground floor every time I wanted a coffee or tea. My room was on the fifth floor, so this wasn’t very convenient. The bar/restaurant service was extremely slow and had a very laid-back attitude – not ideal if you’re in a hurry or expecting prompt service. Overall, the hotel has potential due to its location and cleanliness, but the lack of basic amenities, noise issues, and poor service were disappointing.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The location was very convenient - close to lots of popular spots. It’s a cute and cozy place, perfect for a solo traveler. I felt safe and comfortable throughout my stay, which made my first solo trip even more special. The staff were lovely and happy to help with any questions. I’ll definitely recommend this place to others and would love to come back again next time. Thank you!

I had a fantastic experience staying at YOTEL Edinburgh! The location is perfect—right in the heart of the city, close to all the major attractions, restaurants, and public transport. The check-in process was smooth and quick, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room was clean, modern, and very well-designed with smart space-saving features. I especially loved the adjustable smart bed and the mood lighting—super cool and comfortable! The Wi-Fi was fast, and the TV had great entertainment options.

Clean and relatively sizable room. Free self-service coffee at the bar (although that was not mentioned prior to check in). Food wise, not much of a variety at the bar. Walking distance from Princes Street.
