Excellent location as easily accessible with local bus and train

The hotel was lovely, the bed was comfortable, the reception staff was welcoming and amazing! I was thoroughly disappointed at the breakfast selection - the eggs were overcooked and floating in water, it was quite gross. The gentleman taking care of the tables was quite rude. We asked the reception whether we can look at the breakfast before we make a decision to add on, she said sure, we went there and this gentleman working the floor was quite rude saying for how many? I told him I am still deciding as my partner wanted to come in and have breakfast too. It was me and my mom staying in the room, but he was so pushy and rude, he asked for my room number, I gave it to him, he came back saying it's not paid and I said to him I know I am just deciding if I want to add it on -- we were standing away from the food and didn't have plates or anything, we were just texting my partner to get a decision from him. He was so rude and said "see I told you, this is why I asked, come with me" and he had a very rude attitude. We paid for it at the bar and then went to sit down, but this gentleman was the only rude man in the hotel - quite frankly would not eat at that place again!  He messed the whole experience for us. 

Very nice hotel. Big and comfortable bed. People at reception are friendly. Great for those who want to stay a bit outside of the central area of Edinburgh. Love my stay over there

Near bus stops, 20 minutes bus ride to city center. Room is clean, but only sockets on one side of bed.

The hotel is great if you want to be out of the city and close to the Botanic Garden. Great free parking and a Starbucks onsite make it a great choice and good value for money. Only a mile from the coastline.

A Small ride from city centre, has everything you need, pool sauna, bar, coffee shop, but open to public so can get busy Friendly helpful staff, clean

Really enjoyed our stay.  The gym and the pool were lovely!  Room clean and great shower.  Super family room.  The food at dinner was pricey but very big portions for kids.

Comfortable hotel, free car park. Close to many attraction like calton hill, edinburg castle etc.

The staffs are nice. The room is clean. But there are only have charged gym in hotel.

Terrible was kept awake all night with people below us tv on full blast till 4am shouting and smoking ********. Reported at reception but didn’t recieved an apology
