Winnetu Oceanside Resort at South Beach

Our family has vacationed during the summer at the Winnetu since 2019. Each stay provides the same exceptional service, lodging, and food while still offering something new to do, especially as our kids have grown up. We highly recommend the weekly summer clambake--sunsets on the beach afterwards make for great family photos. The concierge understand how to help you and your family experience unique restaurants, locations, and events, so be sure to check in with him to make plans. Our favorite part of the Winnetu is the beachfront location and open area for our kids to roam and explore safely on their own. For adults, it's an restorative experience with every detail noted and managed so you can relax and enjoy your time on MV.

We have been coming to the Winnetu for years to celebrate our anniversary. This year was our 25th and the Winnetu made it so memorable. The staff and resort never disappoints! Tim in concierge makes you feel right at home. Perfect location, beautiful resort and great people!

We always have a magical time at the Winnetu! We have been returning for years and our two young boys love the pool, beach and all the property has to offer while my wife and I really enjoy the restaurants. Highly recommended to families with young children!

From the moment you step into the Winnetu, the welcoming staff greet you like an old friend and make you feel right at home — except In this case, it’s your dream home. Situated by South Beach in Edgartown, the Winnetu is a stunning property designed in the classic New England beach cottage style that offers panoramic ocean and coastal views. And while you’ll feel like you’ve traveled back in time with its low-key charm, general store and stable of antique cars — including an old fire truck — you will be equally impressed by the hotel’s fresh coastal designs. Adirondack chairs are sprinkled across a lush outdoor space that includes a pond and plenty of game areas.. You’re a few hundred yards from the ocean and only steps from a large pool, where you can grab food and a drink. There’s also a gym and miles of biking/walking paths. And no need for a car or cab because a shuttle runs to and from Edgartown every hour. The concierge team are always helpful offering recommendations on everything from activities to hot spots across the island. The food is also spectacular, with dining spaces offering a variety of options from casual to more formal. Fresh seafood is always on the menu, from oysters to lobster rolls, and the classics are done well too. There’s even a clam bake. What makes it all come together is the staff. They quietly anticipate and meet your every need. I have already booked my room for next summer and am already counting down the days until I return.

Beautiful property, great location right near South Beach in Katama. Nice pool, very kid friendly, staff was very friendly.
