Excellent stay. Enjoyed the outdoir pool and Spa facilities.

My husband and I stayed here for our wedding anniversary It has the wow factor as soon as you arrive Set in idyllic surroundings The building itself is hundreds of years old and has old world charm in abundance. We stayed in the lord percy room in the main building The room was spacious and had stunning views. It was very clean. Bed was really comfortable and pillows were so soft. Really loved the bath robes and slippers. We chose not to eat dinner there. We did enjoy a couple of drinks in the bar. Lovely atmosphere and great background music. Breakfast was amazing My husband had the classic English breakfast and I chose the vegetarian option. The room for breakfast was wonderful. The only complaint we had was there was no one to show us to a table when we arrived. It was hard to find a table that was set and ready. Most needed to be cleared. It felt like they were understaffed. It was a little disappointing. Thankfully the breakfast was really good That being said we really enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to go back

We stayed for one night prior to honeymoon crossing and were a little bit worried about the reviews before arriving. The Manor House is beautiful, the bar and breakfast room. Our room was great in the main house, the bed was comfortable, amenities and clean. Staff looked after us at check in, and whilst having dinner & drinks. There was a bit of a delay with the kitchen, we didn't mind as in no rush but the staff advised us which was good, if you know what's going on its no issue, we appreciated this. The spa is in need of refurbishment, and the heating was on full in our room during our stay with no air con. The outdoor pool was nice for an evening swim. All in all, we left relaxed, fed and happy. It could be fantastic with some investment, but as with all old houses and extensive grounds they are difficult and costly to manage. We would definitely stay again.

Spa treatment with Georgia excellent! Dinner excellent! Staff excellent and a big thank you to Shelby Mayhew the Front of House Manager and Tess reception for making my stay so much better after a room hiccup. Shelby, Champneys are very lucky to have you, your customer service and resolution skills are fantastic! I hope they appreciate you and also Tess and Cassie. Avoid. This is by far the dirtiest spa I ever been to. The floor was covered in dirt, the gym equipment was mucky. The restaurant floor was grimy and there were dead flies all over the window ledge. The door in the restaurant was broken and wouldn't shut without brute force from 3 separate members of staff sending in gusts of wind. The decor is so run down, peeling paint, no hand dryer in the toliets or even hand towels so couldn't dry my hands. The treatment which was supposed to be 20 minutes lasted about 12! The outdoor pool was shut due to "chlorine issues". The inside pool was therefore over-crowded and there were hardly any loungers. To be honest it was probably for the best as the dirt had put me off. We left around 1pm. Then to add insult to injury we were charged twice for my treatment so had to call up the next day (at additional rate costs) and told it would take 10 days for a refund. 3 glasses of wine were 36.40 (said 8.30 per glass on the menu). I came away from a pamper day so coiled up and upset that it took all night to calm myself down.... kind of defeated the object of the day!

I was so excited to be visiting here for afternoon tea, that we decided to stay. Afternoon tea was great and they were very accommodating as we’d messed up our booking. Then it went downhill!!! I’m not sure if the staff were there for the people that were visiting/staying. Although there was maybe 1or2 who this didn’t apply to. I found them unhelpful, unengaged, and rude. I can overlook the poor cleaning in the bathrooms and the swimming pools if the service had been good. But putting it all together I would not rush back nor am I keen to visit another Champneys establishment.

Our room was in Mews cottages, which wasn't made clear on booking. The room was filthy, mould all over the shower, spider in the shower, dirty tiles, hairs on towels and in the shower, urine left on the toilet rim. The shower is tiny and feels very cramped. The TV didnt work properly as the signal wasnt strong enough. It was not the luxury experience advertised. Areas of the spa are run down. At dinner we were served our main before even finishing our starter and didn't get our drinks order until half way through our main. We definitely would not return.

We only stayed there Sunday night as we has a business meeting in the morning. Beautiful venue from outside but it is not cared for inside, it’s not worth the money. We always stay in nice hotels but this one needs a good shake up. Food is not available in bedrooms which is a shame as we were shattered after a busy week in our business. As you can see from the photos you don’t expect to go to a hotel like this and see dust and dirt, can’t comment on spa as we didn’t go there, we would look for another hotel when we have another trip in that area. Food was ok but not amazing. We stayed in room 290, beware if you go there.

Good things: food and beautiful surroundings, the falconry is a nice touch. The bad: the spa pool is really tired and dirty, the steam room was broken. The hotel rooms are tired and really dirty, our shower was broken. The level of service generally other than the restaurant was poor. Advice: worth a visit for lunch and walk around the grounds skip the spa and hotel.

Great day spent here at the spa! Georgie & Imogen were fantastic, so enthusiastic & motivating int he gym classes We did aqua airobics & body combat. The food was exceptional and the service was lovely, the waitress was lovely to us. Would come again!

I visited Champneys Eastwell Manor Hotel for a very relaxing spa weekend with friends. We started the morning off with some of the classes. Massive thank you to Georgie and Imogen for leading the Aqua and Bootcamp they were great. Also had a very yummy lunch. Overall an amazing day

We have just arrived home after a weekend in Whitstable. We visited the spa on Saturday, starting our day with aqua aerobics with Georgie followed by bootcamp/circuits with Imogen straight after. Both were upbeat, energetic, super friendly and made the classes really fun and great workouts!! The spa itself was lovely with beautiful grounds. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back!

thoroughly enjoy my nembership. the tean are enthusuiastic and encouraging. did Georgie's class a few tines....and will do more when i can! She was wonderful, motivating and engaging with us all. the fitness team are all vertmy professional. keep upthe great work!

Had a lovely visit to Champneys Eastwell Manor for a spa day with my Mum. The staff were all very helpful and polite, spa and facilities were all clean, a few of the pool jets and steam room were out of use however we were able to use everything else. The food and service for breakfast and lunch was excellent! Would definitely recommend.
