Peacock Place

The home is beautiful. Breakfast was incredible!! So delicious. We felt welcomed and could not have been treated more warmly! There's not a lot to do for dining or entertainment in the immediate area. We would absolutely come to visit again and highly recommend!!

The breakfast was tremendous!! Landon did a fine job and was even able to accommodate my request for gluten free. We highly recommend Peacock Place!!

It's a beautiful house and the history was very interesting. Landon was wonderful, easily accessible by cell phone, returned calls quickly and he kept us informed about our stay. Not only that he's a great cook! Sunday Breakfast was delicious and way more than we could finish off. Others, younger and without any health issues, wouldn't have any issues with the house itself, but I'm 80 and needed a railing into the tall clawfoot tub and a non-slip mat in the tub. It was very difficult to get in and out of the tub and the rigged up shower was awkward. I had no problem with the stairs up to the bedroom though it is a hike up. Otherwise, it was a delightful stay and the house is gorgeous. Thank you Landon.

This was such a beautifully renovated bed and breakfast place. Our stay was for two nights. It was very clean, very easy to check in. Landon made the most wonderful breakfasts, very accommodating and helpful. Very peaceful and quiet around the grounds. I'd stay again!

The pictures do not accurately represent this place nor do the other reviews. There were three big issues. The first is that the beds are extremely firm, old, and uncomfortable. The second is that in one of our rooms that faced the street there were no curtains or blinds, so zero privacy. There was also a rolled up, dusty giant rug in the corner of a room. However, the worst part was that there was a horrible and extremely strong chemical perfume smell; so much so that we didn’t even stay the night and had to find alternative accommodations. The communication with the host was terse, and it felt like he couldn’t be bothered. Despite not even staying for 30 minutes, and leaving due to a medical reason (strong chemical smell that brought on a full-blown asthma attack), the host chose not to refund that night, only the following one. Please do yourself a favor and do NOT stay here.

They overbooked and we had to stay in a different building behind the Bed & Breakfast. The room was in horrible condition, with broken lightbulbs, one sink didn't work, dirty mirrors, garbage was left behind, dust... Instead of staying three nights, we stay one.

We like the Peacock House because it is a beautiful Victorian House that the owner Landon has created. The breakfast that he fixed for us this morning is perfect. It is very quiet being down a side street off the main road of Eastman. Landon always communicates with his customers.

This place is absolutely exceptional! The property is beautiful, the pool was very fun and the house is GORGEOUS! The rooms were beautifully decorated and we are going to be staying here any time we have to visit family in the area. BUT, the best thing about this was Miss Sarah's pancakes, y'all!! She was just the sweetest lady and her cooking is "make you wanna slap ya momma" good!! Truly, she made us go from feeling like customers to feeling like guests. Cannot wait to go back.

Very clean and peaceful. Easy walk to most of Eastman, temperature maintained in the property was perfect, loved spending a few hours at the pool. Breakfast was good portions. We will be staying again. Not a lot to do in Eastman, but Great walking the town, railway station (which I hope will be restored one day). Perfect getaway. Also check out El Ranco Mexican restaurant, 14 minutes walk. You will want to walk after a couple of pitchers of peach margarita. Feel recharged,I want to go back soon!
