Thank you to Raman for sorting out an extra pillow and case for it, also for fresh milk for my wife to help her sleep soundly. This made it extra special as it's my birthday today. Unfortunately we did no get to see Lenny, but I am sure he will there on our next visit.

Lovely, clean, modern hotel. The staff are extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. In particular Lucas and Tahmid were exceptionally helpful when I had an emergency. The hotel is very comfortable, within walking distance of Southampton airport and train station, plenty of car spaces within the grounds of the hotel if driving. I would recommend staying in this hotel

Pod check in was out of order, so had to queue.. room was comfortable, clean and tidy.. breakfast was awful! Paid £13.99 each for unlimited breakfast, but waited 35 mins for items to be replenished.. no way would you be able to have unlimited, we didn’t even get first rounds! Juice was empty and only 2 staff so not able to keep on top of it all..

All the food was served cold, the drinks had a nasty taste, the room had a musty damp smell, more staff are needed when checking in customers at busy times and to make sure that all selfcheck in desks are working, as the queues were out the door. The hotel was ideal when flying with Southampton airport as it was only a 5 min walk away. I would highly recommend pre booking your meal times as some customers couldn't get food and there is nothing else in the area to eat.

Fantastic rooms and lovely staff but this is let down by the quality of the food served in the restaurant. I had a vegan burger which was crunchy instead of soft. I think some of the Ingredients are cooked centrally and reheated in the kitchen. Shame as I expected better also the menu is not good for vegetarians seems to be a meat fest going on
