I had an amazing stay at De Chicktoria! It is a peaceful location overlooking the mountains just outside the harbor. They offer bike transport and it’s about 10min into town. Rooms and facility are clean and cozy, they offer any services you might need (meals, water, laundry, etc.), and will help you book any onward plans. The hosts make you feel like part of the family, with delicious meals using fresh ingredients grown right there. Highly recommend for a peaceful retreat, delicious food, and excellent company! Location can be a bit hard to find - look for a small sign on the side of the road that says “De Chicktoria”.

A very serene and peaceful hostel with a gorgeous mountain backdrop. The staff are all very friendly and the manager went out of his way to assist with returning some lost property I left behind. The amenities are fairly basic but this was expected, needless to say the rooms were cosy and food on offer was very tasty! There were also very cute kittens roaming around the hostel!
