Spacious room, nice kitchenette and basic accommodation. The room was a little tired and smelled a bit musty, but very clean and I slept well. Check-in was straight forward enough at the bar and very nice bar staff member. Several buses can be caught very nearby and it’s around 10 minutes into town (£2 single or £4 day pass). I would stay again :)

Was dirty everywhere in the room bathroom needed a full revamp and its need a bloody good clean and update was just awful

I Had thought it came with breakfast which it doesn't - although Mon-Fri there is a brilliant little cafe hidden away but very close which staff told us about. We upgraded to the superior room which had a lovely ensuite but the bed is uncomfortable, which they obviously know as you sleep on a duvet to minimise the feel of the spings.

The room was quite small but everything we required was there. Nice and warm and quiet. The bonus was that they have a shared kitchen with a fridge, sink and crockery/cutlery. The staff were really friendly. Plenty of car parking beside the rooms,

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Paid extra for a better and quieter room. I checked in and was given my room keys. When I opened the room door, to my dismay, the room was not ready or even clean (old bedding in the bed and old bags of food and empty bottles on the floor). As I had just travelled for 6 hours, I settled for a small room to store my bags before popping out. At the time this second room was offered to me I was told that this alternative room I was being offered was “exactly the same as the other one” I paid £160 for 2 nights. To add insult to injury, when I came back 3 hours later, I realised that the room I had actually paid for was cleaned and rented out to someone else. There was absolutely no offer from the staff to either give me money back or to move me in to the room I had paid for, after it had been cleaned. They simply rented it out to someone else. The first night I could not sleep as there were doors banging and very high noise levels. This was made worse due to the location of the alternative room I was staying in. During the last evening of my stay the curtain rail just fell of the ceiling, leaving the room window completely uncovered. I ended up leaving at 2 am and travelling home early with no sleep for almost 48 hours as I could not take it anymore.

Spacious room, easy access, helpful staff. Obviously no frills and basic accommodation, but well worth it for the price. Excellent soundproofing from the bar (less so from the corridor).

Great location - easy walking distance into city centre. Room size, decor, ensuite great. Good value for money. Bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. No heating on when we got up in the morning - around 9am ---- only an issue because it was a very cold day. But ---We would definitely stay again 😊

Not great! Dirty room with very dated bathroom -four sheets of toilet roll left and bathroom stank of bleach. Noisy and dirty - definitely not worth the £85 we paid!

Filthy, bathroom light wasn’t working apparently it was going to be replaced in 3 or 4 days, the place needs a major upgrade, would definitely not stay there again.

The room was lovely and clean, the bed was very comfortable and I slept all night. The en suite was clean and the towels where nice and fluffy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. For lunch the food was beautiful, I had a burger with garlic mushrooms on, wow, which came with proper chips and salad. I didn't need to eat again all day. We will be going back there again. Oh and it's only a 10 minute walk into the City.
