The Wildness Hotel

In gernarl the hotel is ok - clean, nice rooms and helpful staff. But it lacks lots of attention to detail. The upstairs terrace was dirty and not preperd to use (contrary to what the pictures on trip.com show). The area around the swimming pool could also look better and cleaner. Also, we arrived at 15.00 and our room was still not ready. Lots of good street food abalible for breakfast around the hotel. And the hotel has very good coffee.

Location and the customer service is the plus point of the hotel. Unlimited replenishment of drinks and fruits is the generousity of the hotel but the rooms decoration and renovation didn't worth for the price we paid. Walking distance to the scenic spots and lots of eatery. Superd location.

Honestly the service at this hotel is what made the trip! The brothers that own the place are extremely friendly and helped drive us around to everything from the sights to their food recommendations that were all delicious. Not to mention beer, fruit and other drinks are all included at the hotel free of charge! It’s also walking distance to the oasis. To any foreigner wanting to travel here, these guys make it so easy and stress free, it’s worth it for them, plus there’s a place to swim amongst the heat and great air conditioning. You can see the dunes from the roof of the hotel too, where there’s tables and chairs to relax for a drink. Would come again in a heart beat.

Staff were really accommodating and the location was perfect for our trip to Dunhuang! Felt like a quiet and luxury hotel in the desert area. Good for international travellers, the staff were always there to help! The complimentary fresh fruit and tomatoes were amazing!

The hotel staff have been so helpful. Very kind and advised me with everything. This made my trip calm, enjoyable and appreciated the warmth of the team at the hotel. The pool was very refreshing after the day trips. The rooms are calm and comfortable. As a foreigner, I felt welcome and was able to do all the sights and enjoy local food. Thoroughly recommend! Great location with clean room. The front desk staff are really good - friendly with really good services. Drinks at the reception area are freely available.
