We were very happy with our stay at Wingate, Dublin! We knew that they were doing lots of remodeling last year---we had a couple of friends who booked a room during the construction phase and it wasn't good (because of noise, etc). But, I can tell you that everything is done and the hotel is beautiful! We absolutely had no complaints at all. My husband and I travel alot (40+ days a year in a hotel or resort each year) and usually stay at a Marriott. This was our first time at this hotel and we will be back. Check-in and check-out was easy and the front desk employees were very friendly! The room was spotless. The king size bed was comfy. We definitely will be back. I highly recommend staying here. The price of this hotel was 1/2 of what other nearby chain hotels were.

"I had an amazing stay at this hotel—definitely a 10/10 experience! The renovation is evident in every detail, from the sleek hardwood floors to the sparkling clean rooms with new sheets. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was both delicious and satisfying. The hotel's prime location with restaurants just steps away made my trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!"

"10/10! This newly renovated hotel impressed me with its modern touches and inviting atmosphere. The friendly staff made check-in a breeze, and I enjoyed a hearty breakfast every morning. The comfortable beds, clean rooms, and fresh, new sheets ensured a great night's sleep. With beautiful hardwood flooring throughout and a pleasant aroma in every corner, plus easy access to nearby restaurants, this is truly the perfect place to stay."

Would stay at this hotel again. We used to break up a drive, so checked in 10:30pm. Was safe/ secure and clean. Conveniently off 81. You can hear traffic and heater was a bit loud but if not a picky sleeper, you will be fine. Spacious room. Simple breakfast provided.

We just returned from a 2 night stay at your Dublin property. We are very disappointed. There was stained and torn carpeting in the entrance, hallways and rooms. The curtains were torn down. Elevators was not functioning. There was mold on the ceiling of our room that caused an allergic attack. We requested service for our room and all we got was removal of soiled towels but no clean towels were provided, trash was not removed, & no sweeping of the room or bed service was given. There was no ice on property and we were told we could purchase some at one of the local convenience stores. While Linda at the front desk was nice at Check-in, most of the time the front desk and desk phone were unmanned. Trying to enter the property was difficult as well and we ran over a bolt in our corvette. Your notation asked us to ‘pardon the dust’ implying minor repairs were being done. What we saw requires a major overhaul and no one should be staying at this property. It is unsafe and does not even begin to represent the level of quality your company typically offers.

Let’s start with the positive. Pillows are soft and bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Towels were very soft which is a plus. This hotel is undergoing renovation and was a sleep inn prior. Everything is old. Stains on comforter, curtains, carpets in halls are nasty looking. Bathtub enamel is peeled off. No coffee pot in room. Breakfast is waffles cereal yogurt bagels donuts hard boiled eggs ans package oatmeal. Coffee is bland Ice machines are not working. Close this building down until the renovation is done. Come on Wyndham

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL! I booked a block group for my daughters ball team. We had approximately 8 rooms. When we arrived, there was no elevator. We had to use the stairs all weekend. Our rooms had mold all over the ceiling and they were dirty. We talked to the front desk but there was nothing they could do. She said they are renovating and the rooms we have are the best they have….which was disgusting. One of our families attempted to switch rooms bc the mold was so bad but then had to come back bc the other room was WAY worse. When we went down for breakfast, the trays were empty. At one point there was sausage, biscuits and gravy but it was all empty when we got there. We got down there at 730am. Then the morning before checkout, one of our moms got bit up by bed bugs. She has pictures and then bites all over here. This is ridiculous and this hotel needs to be shutdown to be renovated. If we would have read the reviews online before booking all these rooms, we NEVER would have booked her. This hotel is in an unacceptable condition and the manger said sorry no refunds. I wish we would have believed the reviews.

Don’t go! Even though I understand this location is under renovation, they should have just shut it down until they were finished. The elevator was broken. Our room was on the third floor. The room was dirty, someone’s leftovers in the fridge. The bathroom mirror had tooth paste spray all over it, the furniture was stained. The mattress was hard and broke down. Their towels and wash cloths were thread-bare. It smelled of mildew. I don’t think it’s going to be much better with renovations though. The tub and shower surround in our room had been “painted” and re-caulked, so that tells me they have no intention of replacing the filthy and torn wallpaper or the cracked all the way across the bathroom floor.

The staff was nice, but that is about where my positive opinions stop. Our room reeked of cigarette smoke the entire trip. There was an air freshener in there, but it seemed incredibly old and did nothing. There was mold in the bathroom, including on the shower curtain. The elevator broke after the first night of our stay, leaving us to take the stairs. As someone who has struggled with breathing problems, this made it very difficult for the third floor. We did not move for fear of a worse room. There were also stink bugs EVERYWHERE, including in our room and covering a curtain at the end of the third floor hallway near the staircase (see photo attached). I also use a breathing device when I sleep, and upon returning home, I found it also still reeks of cigarette smoke. This is a necessary medical device as well, so I pray this issue will not persist. Would not recommend.
