Manera Heights Apartments

My husband and I stayed here the night before he was going into Dubbo Hospital for a knee replacement. It is directly across the road from the hospital and we walked there for his admission in the morning. Although it is located on the corner of two busy roads, it was still quiet- the windows are double-glazed. The price was comparable to other places where you would just get one room but this accommodation is a one bedroom apartment. It has been completely renovated in a modern style, has a full kitchen with new appliances, coffee pod machine and all cooking equipment supplied plus a 3/4 fridge. There is also a walk-in wardrobe off the bedroom with plenty of room for bags. Having a separate bedroom was a godsend as my husband was anxious about his operation and was up at 4am. He then went into the lounge/kitchen area, watched TV and I wasn't disturbed as it was a separate room. The grounds are lovely and suitable for people with small kids who want to run around on some grass. The pool is lovely too. Shared laundry facilities are provided and there are some vending machines for snacks and off-street parking. It is a short 3 minute drive to Dubbo centre and Orana Mall. I only have one small critiscism and that is that the apartments door to the foyer had about a 4 cm gap at the bottom which is fine in Summer but would create a bad draught in Winter but easily fixed. I live about 2 hours away, near Mudgee and have stayed elsewhere in Dubbo at 2 different hotels. Now that I have stayed at Manera Height Apartments, I will not be booking anywhere else but here. If you are staying more than one night especially, you'd be crazy not to stay here.

This place is incredible!! I stayed here for three weeks for business. From the minute I got there to the minute I left I was so impressed with the owners and staff. Great facilities, washing machines, dryers etc. When my room was made up, I could not believe the attention to detail. Thanks so much Joanne and Trevor for everything.

My stay was extremely comfortable and the room was great. Convenient location to the Tafe and Hospital. Trevor was an excellent host and accommodated my needs of arriving early. Would definitely recommend

We found the family apartment to be clean, smelling great and having all the conveniences we needed including a fully functional laundry. The beds were excellent and after the 12 hour trip we had taken, we had the best night sleep ever. It was the best overnight stay we have experienced in our travels, we gladly recommend it, and have made it our first choice when we travel through Dubbo next time.

Our apartment was spotlessly clean, comfortable with good amenities. Good location not far from the town Centre, Accommodating hosts when we needed to extend our stay. A guest laundry on site was helpful. Parking was on site but sometimes full.

Took my 5 year old daughter and a 10 year old son to Dubbo zoo. Kids enjoyed the zoo as always. Hired a cottage with 3 bedroom with a back-yard in Manera Heights. It was clean, ample amenities, decent back yard. Nice pergola. Central air-con was just the right temp. Free 5G Wi-Fi. 2 TVs, Free netflix. Well equipped kitchen. We were surprised with the well stocked cutleries and the crockeries, very clean too. We live in an apartment in Sydney. Kids enjoyed the back yard and the big space. They just didn’t want to go home. Trevor and his wife are very kind. They let me extend our check-out time for an hour. We were supposed to head off to Port Stephens. However, due to flooding, our plans changed and requested for a days extension and they accommodated our request with ease. Orana mall, and Japanese botanical garden are near-by, just 1.2 km. Dubbo hospital is just a stone’s throw from the accommodation. People are nice in Dubbo. They are courteous and kind. Less traffic. Love to visit again and we will surely book the same cottage in Manera Heights. Oh, BTW, the drive from Sydney to Dubbo and back was sweet. Reminded me of my home place in the mountains of Nepal.
