I recently stayed at Hotel Al Manar Apartments in Dubai, and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The front desk staff were absolutely terrible—they have zero knowledge of hospitality and do not care about guests at all. If this hotel wants to stay in business, they seriously need to replace the front desk staff because they are the biggest problem. We faced so many issues during our stay: The refrigerator, microwave, and kettle were completely useless because there was no power. The adapter was broken, so we couldn’t even use basic appliances. The furniture was old and dirty, the beds were uncomfortable, and the chairs were filthy. We called reception multiple times, and every time, they ignored us. No action was taken. It felt like we had to beg for even basic services. Why is this acceptable? When guests spend money, they expect a functioning room and proper service, but here, we got nothing in return. We only stayed two nights because we had no other option, but honestly, I regret booking this place. I reserved this hotel two weeks in advance, but it turned out to be a complete waste of money. This hotel deserves only 1 or 2 stars at best. I strongly recommend others to stay away from this place. The hotel owner should closely monitor the staff if they want to keep their business running, and even the government should step in to check the standards of this property. Thank you for reading.
