Hotel Ivando

The location was beautiful in a peaceful village with a pretty beach. The room was clean, comfortable with a balcony that looked out over the sea. Meals were buffet style with some vegetarian options. Tea and coffee in the room was instant and I always avoid it. I hoped for good coffee at breakfast but I was disappointed. For a 4 star hotel I would expect decent coffee. There was nowhere in the village that sold coffee at breakfast time. Other people in my group tour had rooms in the annexe and some of these had more facilities than just a bedroom and bathroom.

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a Newmarket holiday. Check in was very quick and efficient as it was all done on the coach. The room was clean and comfortable and we had a nice little balcony with a sea view. The dinners were mainly pre-ordered and were ok. Breakfast was a good choice. The hotel is located in a very pretty village, on a beach, very peaceful.

We stayed at this lovely hotel for three nights as part of a tour of Croatia organised through Newmarket Holidays. Check in was smooth and we were in our rooms within 5 minutes of arrival. The room ( and all other areas of the hotel) was spotlessly clean and immaculately presented..It had a spacious bedroom and shower room as well as a small balcony with a table and two chairs. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel each day . All meals were served as a well presented buffet and there was plenty of choice Dishes were replenished frequently and were always hot ( when appropriate) and tasty.. Drinks from the bar were very reasonably priced. The hotel is in a lovely setting just a short stroll from the beach which at the time of visiting ( mid May) was very quiet and peaceful.The hotel is family run and all staff did everything they could to ensure we enjoyed our stay - and we certainly did!!
