The Cart Shed at Swallow's Nest.Luxury accommodation for up to 6 people in the heart of Yorkshire's Nature Triangle. Formerly a stable block and cart shed, this historic building has been lovingly restored by the owners, Katy & John, using reclaimed and sustainable materials. The walls are insulated with locally grown hemp and lime plaster provides a beautiful textured and rustic finish. Furnished with every attention to detail, bedrooms and bathrooms have been designed with relaxation and comfort in mind. Two of the bedrooms have an en suite shower / toilet room (one is wheelchair accessible with roll in shower) and there is also a family bathroom with bath, shower and toilet.The large open plan living space has a fully fitted, hand crafted country kitchen, oak wood flooring, underfloor heating and a log burning stove (complimentary logs). With three bedrooms sleeping up to six people, the Cart Shed offers the perfect space for families or groups of friends to gather together. Two of the bedrooms can be made up as either super king sized beds or two singles. Situated all on one level, it is fully wheelchair accessible.The Cart Shed looks out onto our woodland and across open fields. Watch the sun set, listen to birds singing and enjoy a glass of wine on the private patio. There is a smart TV with Freesat and WiFi is included. The kitchen includes an electric hob, microwave/grill/convection oven, small fridge, kettle and toaster, as well as the essential equipment needed to prepare a meal. The main sleeping area consists of a double bed with all bedding included. There is a lamp and sockets in the sleeping area for added convenience. Luggage can be safely stored under the bed throughout your stay. In the separate bathroom there is a powerful rainfall shower with toilet and basin. Towels and hand wash are provided. The lodge has double glazing and its own combi-boiler with radiators, making it comfortable all year round. Decking at the front of the lodge catches the morning sun, and is the perfect place to enjoy breakfast on the table and chairs provided. To the side of the lodge we have provided an area with a BBQ for you to enjoy the lovely summer evenings. We allow one well behaved dog onsite.
