Sublime perfection every thing was 10/10 no faults at all. Staff were lovely Lauren & Charlotte were a delight. Would return in a heartbeat. Ideal location to explore the Yorkshire coast. The softest mattress which you did not want to leave in the morning.

Loved every minute of our 2 night Hibernation stay! Our room was characterful and charming with great scene lighting, just the right combination of historical and super comfy modern decor. The interior decoration was outstanding throughout and everywhere was clean - one of the many fabulous chandeliers was getting the feather duster treatment whilst we were there . The same attention to detail was everywhere and all the staff were friendly and totally on it. We had the set menu at dinner and it was perfect, delicious food and a lovely dining room. So as others have said, the only thing I didn’t like was having to leave! Oh and another plus, it’s a short drive to Bempton Cliff and the seabird colonies .

Our first visit yesterday was not disappointing. We visited for Sunday lunch which was extremely nice, served by very helpful and friendly staff. On our arrival we were most warmly welcomed by the very helpful lady on Reception, I am sorry that I cannot remember her name. She took us at our request to the Bar for a pre-lunch drink before siting down in the Dining Room to a fabulous Lunch. We would certainly recommend Highfield House and revisit again, next time to spend the night there and enjoy a relaxed overnight stay with dinner and breakfast the following morning.

Fantastic family get away for a birthday celebration, luxurious rooms so individually themed, fantastic evening meal and breakfast. Such attentive staff could not fault anything, superb experience. Thank you Charlotte and all the team.

The hotel was amazing just loved it , went on a sunday night , its a loverly chilled out place , the room was just loverly , wish that train track worked 🤦‍♂️ anyway me and the wife would defo stay there again , have already recommended it to all out friends Thanks again

My husband booked me a surprise night away for my birthday. I hadn't expected it as we only live around the corner, but wow, I was blown away. He had booked us into the Kingsland suite, which was amazing. It was warm and spacious with a beautiful view over the grounds. The bath was huge and fabulous. It was so nice to be able to have a nice hot bath and relax before we went down for dinner. Our evening meal was amazing. I had the vegetarian main, which was lovely. I'm not a veggie, but I fancied something different, and this didn't disappoint. The dessert was also fabulous. I had the new doughnut dessert. The chef had even written happy birthday on my plate. Such a lovely touch. The staff were all very attentive and so friendly. You really feel welcome here. Nothing is too much trouble. After dinner we went into the parlour. This is such a lovely cosy room. I love that all the rooms are so different. Wherever you look, there is something to see. The bed in the room is huge and was so comfy. It's one of the best nights sleep I have had in ages. The toiletries in the room are amazing. They smell divine and I bought some to bring home. Breakfast the next day was lovely and there is plenty of choice. Even fussy people are catered for. I would recommend a treatment with Sarah. I was surprised with a facial and massage after my breakfast as a birthday present and after I left her room I felt truly relaxed and pampered. She is a godsend and I will be booking in for more treatments now I have found her! My only negative was that I had to leave! I really didn't want to. I can't wait to go back. Hopefully it is a new birthday tradition.
