Welcome to our Rügen Cottage.
Take a vacation where the land meets the water in Germany: arrive and relax on the largest and greenest island in Germany, on the island of Rügen! You want to be close to the sea? From the window of our house you can see the sea. Lancken is located on the peninsula Wittow in the northwest of the island of Rügen, with its beautiful beaches and the original Boddenlandschaft.
You do not want to lie with hundreds of people on a beach, which is only approx. 500 m away from the house, but only with one hand full? That's exactly what is possible here! If you are looking for a fine sandy beach, then walk in the direction of Nonnewitz, Kreptitzer Heide and you will be astonished .....

View from the property to the sea. Access is via a side street (paved). Parking (for 4 cars) in carport and on the property. Purchase 3 km, restaurant 3 km, center 3 km. Pharmacy in Altenkirchen 6 km. Doctor in Dranske 3 km. Indoor pool in Sagard 29.6 km. Railway station in Sassnitz 36 km. Bank in Wiek 3 km, main road 1000 m. Children's playground 500 m. Lovely house, but not by the ocean
We went to Rügen together with my in-laws, we were five grown-ups and four kids.
All and all the house and surroundings were lovely. The house is super cute, and have all the stuff you need. Bathrooms and kitchen were clean and well stocked.
Worth pointing out:
1.The house is not actually by the sea. Maybe we read the house listing sloppily, but we all got the impression that the house was really close to the beach. It's actually a 15 minute walk. However - when you get there it's fantastic! There is trail along the water that is perfect for walks or running.
2.The bedrooms are clean and cozy, but the beds are rock hard, and I mean it - it was like sleeping on the pavement. We ended up using some additional pillows and blankets as stuffing under the sheets to manage sleeping.
Additional comment to host:
Please consider buying a real full-size grill. The existing one is way too small and low quality to use for cooking for a full family, even less two families.
What would make the biggest difference for comfort though is buying some additional mattress toppers on IKEA. That would make a huge difference.
Final note - despite my comments above, we had a great time on Rügen and this house was one of the coziest and most appreciated we ever rented!

Grossfamilien Domizil in ruhiger Lage
Wir haben uns mit der Großfamilie mit Kindern, Enkeln und Hunden sehr wohl gefühlt. Die fussläufige Nähe des Naturstrand den wir größtenteils alleine nutzen konnten waren optimal. Besonders dass wir hier mit den Hunden den Tag verbringen konnten war für uns sehr angenehm und für die Ostseestrände nicht selbstverständlich . Wir haben die verschiedenen Möglichkeiten des Hauses - Sauna, Grill gerne genutzt - besonders die Enkel haben die große Badewanne nach einem Strand Tag genossen. Aufgrund der Lage in der Ferienhaussiedlung und des geringen Autoverkehrs konnte unsere Enkelin gefahrlos das Fahrradfahren lernen Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Erholung pur
Es war einfach schön, vom Wetter mal abgesehen. Aber die Sauna hat uns wieder aufgewärmt. Die Ausstattung ist großzügig und es gibt sogar eine große Auswahl an Gewürzen. Es fehlte uns an nichts.Wir kommen gerne wieder und empfehlen das Cottage sicher weiter. Wenn Rügen, dann dort.

Rügen im Spätsommer
Das Haus ist wirklich sehr gemütlich und stimmig eingerichtet. Genug Platz für die ganze Familie.
Die ruhige Lage macht den Aufenthalt perfekt.

Traumurlaub
Das Haus ist mit allem eingerichtet, was man sich nur wünschen kann. Es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Die vielen Details machten unseren Urlaub unvergesslich, es steckt so viel Liebe in der Einrichtung und Dekoration des Interieurs!
Und alles ist so sauber und ordentlich.
Wir möchten unbedingt wiederkommen.

Erholung pur
Der aufenthalt im rügen cottage trägt einen enormen teil dazu bei, sich an der ostsee zu erholen. Ankommen und wohlfühlen trifft hier absolut zu. Wir können das haus nur wärmstens empfehlen. Ein stück herz von uns ist geblieben! Sicher kommen wir wieder! L

Ruhe in einem wunderschönen Cottage
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in dem Haus in vollen Zügen genossen.Die Unterkunft- das Cottage- ist wunderbar, wohltuend und mit so viel Liebe zum Details gemütlich eingerichtet. Alles mit Geschmack ausgewählt, was uns das Gefühl gegeben hat, zu Hause zu sein.

Tolles Haus!
Ein sehr schönes und sauberes Haus. Unsere Freundesgruppe von 5 hatte viel Platz und wir habend uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Alles war sauber und gut ausgestattet, besonders schön ist der Garten.

Rügen Cottage - und die Zeit verfliegt!
Unser Aufenthalt im Rügen-Cottage war wundervoll. Ein sehr schönes Haus, liebevoll gebaut und gestaltet, perfekt ausgestattet - niemand von uns war je in einem besser ausgestatteten Ferienhaus. Es war alles vorhanden, vom Tee über Puddingpulver, vom Spülmittel bis zum WC- Reiniger. Teller, Tassen, Geschirr in reicher Fülle, Töpfe und Pfannen und alle Hilfsmittel wie Pürrierstab, Schneebesen und Pfannenwender in reicher Fülle. So macht das Kochen Freude! Sogar an Spiele und Bücher wurde gedacht! Besonders schön war es Bücher zur Geschichte Rügens zu finden und so noch etwas zu lernen!
Der Garten ist sehr gut gepflegt und obwohl das Wetter eher durchwachsen war, haben immer wieder im Garten sitzen können.
Die Lage ist mitten in eines relativ neuen Ferienhausgebiets, aber man ist trotzdem sehr schnell an einem wunderschönen Strand! Wir haben die täglichen Spaziergänge an den Strand geliebt und ein paar sehr schöne Steine als Erinnerung mitgebracht.
Fußläufig gab es eine Art Bistro, in dem man recht gut essen konnte. Ansonsten: Einkaufen 4 km Norma, 8 km Edeka und Netto.
Wir waren ja in der Vorsaison dort, es waren noch viele Gaststätten geschlossen. Wir konnten aber trotzdem Essen gehen, haben aber auch gerne mal auf dem tollen Induktionsherd gekocht.
Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und bedanken uns von ganzem Herzen für die schöne Zeit bei unseren Gastgebern!
