Great hotel! But the breakfast isn’t the same from one to another one.

If you have carried heavy luggage, you cannot get any help from hotel staffs. The outdour lift is not working. To be honest, their restaurant serves high quality food.

Schöne Zimmer. Ansprechendes Hotel. Gutes Essen. An der Sauberkeit gibt es kaum etwas zu beanstanden, aber eben doch ein paar Kleinigkeiten. Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Autobahn. Sonst ist da eher wenig in der Umgebung.

We travel to Holland every year. We always travel around & stay in van de valk hotels every time. We found that the Dordrecht was possibly the best one yet. The rooms were very comfortable, large & tastefully decorated. The staff were very friendly throughout. From the cleaners, reception & restaurant. The food was fabulous also. We ate breakfast & also dinner over our 3 night stay. We will definitely return at some point in the future.

One night stay, for business trip in Netherlands. Very good experience. Modern and clean building. Large and well-equipped room. Also quiet. Gentle staff. Right quality-price ratio. Absolutely recommended for appointments in the area.

I have just returned from the Netherlands, after spending 8 days there. Through the entire duration, we have stayed at the Van der Valk hotel in Dordrecht. The location is perfect for a star trip, since it has an easy connection to all directions and highways. The underground parking, is a perfect solution, both for rainy weather and for moving luggage. The resteraunt is great (Both the food and the friendly service), we had one launch buffet on the first day and daily breakfasts. The room was the most spacious that we ever had (for 3 persons), which includes a big bedroom (1 king size bed and 1 single bed) and a big bathroom (with a seperation between the shower and toilet). It also includes a coffee/tea maker, fridge and a big view window, into the horizon. The one thing that bothered us, was the size of the toilet.. it felt like the design should have added a bit more space there and reduced the space from the shower area. I would definitely recommend this hotel to a family that just wants to relaex, after a day of traveling, in the south of the Netherlands.

We have chosen the hotel because of its location close to Rotterdam and the motorway. We had some work to do, so decided to take a Skyline Suite, so we had some space to sit and work. Regrettably the suites are made for a romantic outing. Being on the 13th floor there is no worry that somebody looks into the room. The hotel also takes an extra € 150 as bond, in case you make a mess of the room. There is a separate toilet. The bathroom area is huge. Two wash basins and lot of space, regrettably there were no glasses available. We used the carton coffee cups to drink from. A huge batch in an open area, which was not used. An open room again with 2 showers and ‘rainforest’ shower heads in the ceiling. The water pressure was not high enough to really make them work. Also no towel rails or towels provided in that room. So - unless you were prepared - you had to walk into the space with the bath in , to get towels. Only 2 towels are provided, large enough to wrap a child in… but not big enough for an adult. The quality was inferior and not nice big and fluffy for a room with so many water features. Again only 2 larger towels so if you wanted a bath and a shower, you had to use a wettish towel for the second use. No table where you could use a room service meal , nor decent chairs. No desk either, instead a make table with a big mirror. Two lounge chairs, where you can only lie in, next to the bed where you can lie in. The bed is big, but the mattress did not fit the bed! On both sides you had 15 cms space. The room has a coffee machine, with 4 coffee pods. So you’d better not be a coffee drinker. A small fridge is also present, with 2 small bottles of water, so no min bar!! For a room which costs over € 300 this can be used as a nice romantic getaway with your secret friend … but bring your own ice box, towels and coffee!!

We have stayed at this hotel several times - always satisfied with our handicap friendly room (bathroom with shower) - this time at 9th floor with a Nice view. The room itself was large. Breakfast each morning is a multple choice between many different items. A chef can cook an omelet for you. You’ll find pancakes, scrambles eggs, bacon, sausages and and and. Everything is freshly made. The staff is very attentive. We always enjoy to come back.

I have just returned from a 2 night stay and I was very satisfied with my experience. The hotel is quite a way from the centre of Dordrecht but the number 4 bus takes you to the centre in about 20 minutes. Check in was quick and easy and my room was very good. It was a large room, with floor to ceiling windows looking out to the east. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I had 2 good nights sleep. The bathroom was spacious, with a seperate bath and shower, with plenty of towels, along with shower gel, shampoo and shower cap, if required. There was a wardrobe, with plenty of space for your clothes and there was also a safe in there, as well as a small ironing board (but no iron) There was a small fridge, with 2 bottles of water and a large flat screen TV. The breakfast was plentiful, with lots of hot and cold options - eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, beans, cold meats,, cheeses, fruit, vegetables along with various types of bread and pastries. There is also a pleasant bar area. All the staff were polite and efficient and although this is not a holiday hotel, in the real sense, although there is a swimming pool on the top floor, as well as a gym, it is a very good option if you are coming to Dordrecht area for business

The food was great! Unfortunate the overnight-stay wasn’t good and the service of the hotel horrible. We booked a night in the sky suite of the hotel. The room looked great. We booked the night stay for our wedding night, I made sure they would be aware of that and it would be a special night for us. They offered us a complimentary (small) bottle of Prosecco what was very nice of them. Unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy our room in the way intended because apparently the fitness was above our sky suite! We constantly heard the noice of falling weights on our ceiling. We told about this in the evening because it was really horrible and they just told us, sorry there isn’t anybody right now in the fitness. We can’t do anything more. Okay well fine we thought, maybe it’s over than. But it started again already in the morning! We woke up at 06:30 in the morning! Because somebody was throwing weights already again. I went downstairs because this wasn’t really how I intended my wedding night to go. The funny fact was when I went down I was with the person from the fitness! So I did my complained and they said sorry but there isn’t anybody in the fitness, no I know i replied. I was with that mister in the elevator! But they said they can’t do anything, I told them I want to speak to a manager but they only offered me the reception email and just send a complaint. Of course I send the complaint and I didn’t get a reply until the next day after my check out. You can solve a problem really well when your customer already checked out. They offered me a 50% discount on my next stay including breakfast. But I told them I live normally in Finnish Lapland and the last time I spend an overnight stay at there hotel was 3 years ago. When I told I didn’t accept that offer and I would like a free night stay including breakfast before I leave back to Finland they just told me that that isn’t possible because the problem wasn’t so severe. Unfortunately after my reply they never answered to me again. They neglect to solve a complaint in 72 hours and deal with it in this manner! I am born and raised in Dordrecht and since the hotel and restaurant are build we dine in the restaurant. The restaurant is amazing and the service great! But the experience of the hotel was awful and the handling of the complaint was even worse. What should have been a once in a life time experience in a good way for a wedding night turned out to be a once in a life time experience in a negative way. I never experienced this kind of customer service.

Ich war hier für zwei Tage für ein großes Meeting untergebracht. Die Anreise mit dem PKW verlief reibungslos und das Hotel verfügt über genügend kostenfreie Parkplätze. Der Check-in verlief reibungslos und ich hatte ein Zimmer im Neubau. Das Zimmer war super: ich hatte schon lange kein so grosses Zimmer und Bett. Ich mag Zimmer ohne Teppich also hier Daumen hoch. Das Bad war sehr geräumig und hatte eine Regensusche sowie eine separate Badewanne. Die Toilette war in einem separaten Raum. Es gab ebenso eine Nespressomaschine. Abends im Restaurant habe ich mit zwei Kollegen gegessen und das Essen war ebenso hervorragend wie die beiden Drinks an der Bar. Das Frühstück am Morgen war sehr umfangreich und sehr gut. Das Konferenzarangement war ebenso gut, Betreuung sowie das Essen am Mittag und am Abend; beides in Buffet-Form aber sehr gut. Ich kann das Hotel sehr empfehlen.

Zoals eerder aangegeven zijn er vlekken in het ligbad te zien, toiletruimte vloer niet schoon, airco deed het vrijwel niet. Ook de donkere barman wilde me niks verkopen omdat ik het woord whisky gebruikte gaf hij me een hele les en mocht ik alleen uit hele dure merken kiezen terwijl alle Bacardi aanwezig is.
