Exceptional service from Alison (and family) who ensured that all of our needs were met. On arrival we were greeted with tea and homemade cake. Alison prepared a delicious and plentiful breakfast each day, which in addition to a cooked breakfast, also included a fresh fruit platter and home made jams to accompany toast. Alison provided recommendations for places to eat and where to visit in Dorchester and surrounding areas. My highlight was the Roman Town House and walk by the river, if Alison hadn’t recommended I never would have known they were there. Would thoroughly recommend Bramlies B&B to anyone who is looking for a relaxing break, good food and an incredibly hospitable host.

The BB was lovely, nice beds, great showers. The food service was amazing, they have have vegan alternatives. The host is really welcomming and nice. She's full if amazing ideas of things to see and do, knows a lot about the area, and can make tailormade suggestions on your preferences.

Everything about this place from the lovely welcome with tea and cake. Lovely room with really comfortable beds and en-suite bathroom, absolutely spotless. Breakfast choices were great, fruit platter followed by scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. Quiet location and ample parking. Thank you to Alison and your mother. See you next year, will definitely be back.

I spent 5 nights at Bramlies and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. It's a beautiful place with bright, clean and comfortable rooms and a delicious breakfast. Alison, the owner is a lovely, considerate and helpful person who made sure that I could visit all local places I wished to see, and even helped me when I needed to visit the local clinic. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect visit to Dorchester. Seeing the hedgehog in the garden was icing on the cake for this American visitor. I can't say enough to recommend staying at Bramlies B&B.

My wife and I stayed at Bramlies B&B for 5 nights during July 2024 and were absolutely delighted with our time spent there ! The accommodation is clean and comfortable, the area is quiet and relaxing and the bed was so comfortable. Our host Alison was exceptional ! We were welcomed with a big smile , tea and cake upon arrival and were served a plentiful and delicious breakfast on the decking area al fresco every morning at the time of our choosing . Alison was always happy and willing to give advice and recommendations about the local area and the best places to visit while we were there. We highly recommend Bramlies as the perfect place to stay when visiting Dorchester and the surrounding area. We have reserved to stay there again next summer when we travel from Hong Kong to spend time with my brother and his family in nearby Poundbury .

A peaceful little spot with such a helpful and welcoming host. I particularly enjoyed having breakfast on the terrace in the sunshine, and the homemade jams are delicious! Very pleased I picked this over one of the chain hotels - it made travelling for work so much more enjoyable.
