Located on the Wild Atlantic Way, the Aille River Tourist Hostel and Camping Doolin is a tourist accommodations that offers a mixture of original features and modern comforts such as free fiber-optic Wi-Fi.

This place is a little gem. We camped and the facilities for campers are ex ellent. Shower was hot with plenty of space, kitchen is really well equipped with everything you could possibly need, lovely welcoming common area to eat breakfast, dinner etc, or indeed just hang out with a book. Few minutes walk from all the main Doolin pubs wth great food and live music. We were lucky and had amazing weather so very grateful to have the gorgeous outside area to eat breakfast and lounge about. The owner and staff are really helpful. I left something behind anmd they went out of their way to get it back to me. So impressed

The warm hospitality was greatly appreciated at this hostel (my first stay). The room with ensuite had everything one needed and nothing that was not needed. It was cozy. Having access to the kitchen to make breakfast was helpful. Recommend packing something to eat as there is not a grocery or convenience store nearby. Well located to catch the bus or walk to the ferry.

I stayed with Adva and Robert in their hostel, with my 3 siblings for 2 nights in Sepember. We had a lovely 4 bed room with ensuite. The hostel is an amazing place to stay, beside the river in the centre of Doolin. I would highly recommend it. We will be back.

I had a great week on a well-sheltered camping pitch, close to the bathroom and kitchen facilities. The shared areas are kept spotlessly clean and contain everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Avda and the staff were full of tips and advice to make for a fabulous holiday.

Came here on a motorbike trip, 5 of us. Adva and all of the staff were 1st class. Handy location within walking distance of Doolin. Facilities were excellent and rooms very clean. All the best and see you again soon. Fae the Jocks - The Chappit Tatties

My family and I stayed in this hostel recently. The location was fabulous, rooms were decent size and well heated however these are the few positives of this hostel. Upon arrival, the ‘receptionist’ was extremely rude. Unfortunately the bathroom was covered in dust and there was constant banging from the room above. The receptionist had no time for small talk- the keys were handed to us and that was it. No explanation of rooms or facilities. It is a shame that the staff here are so rude as the area and location of the hostel are beautiful. A little friendliness and cleanliness would’ve gone a long way- due to how unapproachable the staff were we did not come forward with these issues at the time. In future we will check staff reviews before booking.

Could not fault a single thing about my experience at this hostel. Robert, the owner, is a thorough gent. He was very friendly and very informative on what to do in the area - as well as being great fun. Beds very comfy and throughout the hostel was sparkling clean. Will definitely be back!

Just had a lovely experience camping at and using the facilities of the Allie River Hostel in Doolin. The staff are helpful and friendly. The hostel facilities are clean and well maintained with sanitisers available for self- cleaning. The fully equipped kitchen and dining area with ample fridge room really makes makes camping a pleasure! Also must mention our friendly helpful fellow campers. A great experience all round. For 105 Euro per night, we shouldn't have to pay extra for a towel or cup of coffee. I feel like they really took advantage of us with the price and fees for extras. You can do far better someplace else. Maybe even find a nicer staff or a place with more room in what is described as a "family" suite. There were three of us and we could barely all stand at once - let alone fit luggage.
