I stayed two nights at the Hotel Eurossola and had a good experience. It could not be easier to find -- it's straight across from the train station (and a little to the left). I was able to check in when I arrived at 11am, and was assigned a room on the 1st floor (2nd floor to Americans) directly above reception. The room was extremely clean, and smelled freshly sanitized. I had a single bed, a TV with a couple English channels, a desk, and private en suite bathroom. I did notice that I heard all the noise from reception directly below me - phone calls, talking, etc. That was a little annoying. Otherwise the room was quiet and adequately warm (adjustable heat dial on the wall -- it also appeared to have AC). Breakfast was included, and it was done in the hotel restaurant and had the standard continental fare of croissants, breads, cereals, fruit, cheeses, ham, etc. There was an automatic coffee machine that made cappucinos, espressos, and americanos at the touch of a button, too. The restaurant was not open for dinner the two nights I was there. The best part of the stay was the family that seems to own/run the hotel and maybe even live there. They were gracious and friendly, and their little boy was just adorable. The bar is the dining/TV room, and I got to sit down and watch TV with them and sip wine. It was a very nice, friendly, family-like experience!
