Calimera Yati Beach

The hotel itself is brilliant and located straight on the beach so you can enjoy both the swimming pools and sea which is one of best beaches in Djerba Island. Staff are nice, and they work hard to make guests feel comfortable and enjoy their holiday. Food is good, you will certainly find something you will like although it can be repetitive as in most All Inclusive hotels. Rooms are spacious and clean.

The hotel did not meet our expectations. Food was very repetitive, almost the same every day, and quite poor in taste. Rooms were in bad condition, not properly cleaned, and in one of them the air conditioning didn’t work and there was a strong smell of mold. We were only given a room change on the third day after many complaints, and the reception staff made the whole process very unpleasant with rude comments. Staff clearly favored German guests – in the restaurant and bar they were served faster and with more attention. The all-inclusive offer was very limited, with most drinks available only for an extra charge. Reception during the day was unfriendly and unhelpful. Overall, this hotel is more stressful than relaxing. Definitely not worth the price and we cannot recommend it.

Clean and calm Hotel! Room was perfect. Every meal at the hotel was a delight fresh ingredients, beautiful presentation, and prompt service. The buffet offers a wide range of options for all dietary needs. We loved spending time by the different pools; clean water, and a great atmosphere. The hotel private-beach was stunning; clean white sand; crystal clear water and plenty of sunbeds available. The family-friendly atmosphere was a big plus, especially the daily kids’ programs and the fun, engaging staff.

They served the same food everyday ! THEY HAVE SOME OF THE WORST STAFF IVE EVER SEEN IN A HOTEL (Security staff, Front desk agent, Manager waiter) All of this pressure because of the hotel bracelet ! And I’ve seen customer walking without it ! THE HOTEL NEED RENOVATION FOR SURE The Machine in the small gym are not working but they leave them there just to look nice ! AND THE SPA USE THE SAME GLOVES 🧤 TO RUB YOUR BODY FOR EVERY CUSTOMER THEY MAKE YOU PAY for the outside seat transat ! INSANE WELL MY VACATION HAS BEEN DAMAGED BECAUSE OF THIS PEOPLE DEFINITELY WONT GO BACK !

We stayed here last year but were unable to find space this year and booked another hotel close by. Our hotel is nice but for Christmas and new year the celebrations are not quite on par with Calimera which are just absolutely out of this world. We spoke to Camlimera and they let us join for new year - what an absolute experience it is, the pastry chefs are first class and the whole vibe of the party was so welcoming. Most of the staff remembered us from last year and welcomed us so warmly. Stepping into Calimera again after a year and we were reminded that is absolutely the cleanest and most welcoming hotel on all of Djerba. Keep it up and see you next year.

We went there in a group of six and it was my first (and last) time to Tunisia. Sea shore was covered with 2m thick block of rotting sea grass of some kind. Dinners were thematic, but the variance of breakfasts was zero and in case of lunch, only the grill part was changing. All (5) available cocktails were alcohol + juice (which was not fresh juice, but that stuff from concentrate) + some sweet colored syrup. There was just one 24/7 bar which was constantly overcrowded and the service was rather poor. Some bartenders were fairly arrogant. Once I ordered two drinks, got served one and then the bartender went serving someone else, then started unpacking some boxes, doing other stuff, then eventually returned to me and finished the other drink. Took over 10 minutes. Not a single word explaining the delay, just a condescending face. Considering we paid "all inclusive", relatively many things were paid (fresh juice, alcohol outside 6 offered liquors, 2 wines and 1 beer). Each of our group had some sickness issues, one requiring doctor assistance. That's actually one good thing there - doctor arrived 30 minutes after asking the delegate. The other good thing were olives. Everything else was mediocre or bad.
