Super séjour en famille, excellent accueil , super restaurant

Maybe I live on another planet, but I really didn't like this hotel. The rudest staff ever especially Jamal at the front desk who charged me the local tax for an extra night when I wasn't staying there and kept the money for himself. I have been travelling in Tunisia a while and this was the worst hotel so far. Yes, my previous two hotels were luxury 5-star but I had stayed in other 3-star hotels during my trip. The positives. Nice grounds and setting. Clean. Huge room like an apartment with a kitchen area if you want to cook anything. WIFI worked well. Now, why I didn't like it. The room was like an oven. There is air conditioning but this didn't work well and mainly flowed in the lounge area rather than the bedroom. I struggled to sleep. It was cooler outside! The bathroom was very basic. No complimentary water provided. There is a small supermarket opposite the hotel and what appeared to be a coffee shop but other than that, the area is pretty dead with nothing around. You need a car or a taxi to move around. My room rate did not include any meals but suggest adding them. As I said, there is not much around. I included breakfast and had the buffet dinner twice during my stay. Breakfast was a basic buffet, but adequate with breads, pastries, an egg station and more. Not huge at all but enough. Coffee was awful. The dinner buffet was fine. Again not a huge selection but enough. The food was nice but skip the desserts, too sickly sweet. Drinks are not included. Cheap. They have an à la carte menu too for dinner which mainly includes Western dishes. I got a little bit annoyed with the waiters as they kept hovering over you when eating, watching and all I wanted was to be left in peace. On my first night, I was encouraged to have something from the à la carte menu but why do I want to have pizza and pasta when I can have that at home? Go for the buffet. Reception staff were unfriendly and never greeted you. My stay was meant to be for 4 nights but I checked out after 2 and went to another nicer hotel. There is a small swimming pool as well. Not for me.

Wow. Our unit was huge— bedroom, sitting area and kitchen (minimally equipped)but with refrigerator and microwave) A patio made for good sitting in the early morning or evening. The food was great, both the buffet and when ordering from the menu. The waitstaff were friendly and efficient. We enjoyed the pool for late afternoon swims. The beach where there were chairs and umbrellas is a short walk. Daily maid service. This is a resort to which customers, mostly French and German return to year after year. While it may be a little warm around the edges, for the price and spaciousness of the accommodation it earns our 5.

Ich und meine Tochter haben 14 Nächte im Toumana verbracht. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht , ist richtig hier. Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal - immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht. Sauberes Studio und gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gleich gegenüber.

Notre guide privé Alain Jordy nous a emmené dans cet établissement tranquille et très agréable pour prendre un verre et c’était très agréable. Au delà de cela, nous recommandons les services d’Alain sans qui nous aurions gardé une vilaine image de Djerba et des îliens. Nous avons eu la chance de visiter de nombreux sites en sa compagnie et dans des conditions authentiques et privilégiées, Djerba hood, musée de ghelala, ksar ghilane. Nous n’avons maintenant qu’une envie, retourner à Djerba avec Alain, rencontrer des gens vrais et de merveilleux endroits en sa compagnie. Nous recommandons ses services sans la moindre hésitation

J’ai passé une semaine dans cet hôtel ; Le plus : chambre spacieuse avec salon et soin cuisine. Belle petite piscine. Le moins : qualité wifi médiocre. Pas de wifi dans la chambre. J’avais pris demis pension : petit dej et dîner. Le premier jour, le server vous demande : voulez vous un jus de citron ou fraise frais (sans vous dire que c’est payant ) et il le fait avec tous les touristes étrangers mais pas les locaux. Donc tu te retrouve à payer une boisson bourrée de sucre à 10 dinars ( une fortune là-bas ) . Donc méfiez vous, si on vous propose ça le matin vous saurez que c’est 10 dinars. J’ai assisté à des scènes ou des parents étrangers prennent des jus pour toute la famille pendant que c’est compris dans le petit dej, ils se retrouvent ensuite à payer 40 ou 50 dinars. Réception désagréable (homme d’une cinquantaine d’années avec lunettes ) il prend les gens du haut. Il crie sur les clients. Des scènes juste surréalistes. Plage privée loin de l’hôtel . Il faut marcher et surtout la trouver … je ne reviendrai pas dans cet hôtel.
