Initially I booked Citadines Regency Saigon, which is 450m away, during the Black Friday sales. Unfortunately the booking was unsuccessful and when I tried to rebooked it, it was double the priced i initially paid for. Thus I decided to settle for Central Park SaiGon Hotel despite the mixed reviews -- I have no regrets with this decision. The journey from the airport is about 20 minutes, about 100K dong by Grab. And it is a walking distance to many attractions - War Remnants Museum, Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica, Reunification Palace, Tân Định Church, Sài Gòn River, Tran Hung Dao Statue and more. Must visit place around the hotel: - Nior Spa: 10/10 best massage in the area - 1991 Rooftop coffee and more: 10/10 best coffee and view - Apothecary: 10/10 cocktail bar - Sài Gòn Đậm Đắng: 10/10 Delicious Banh Mi It's currently still under renovation, but it's not an issue for a traveller like myself - who uses the hotel as a place for sleep and shower. It comes with daily breakfast but it gets empty quickly if you don't head down early. The food is average so you can skip it. Room rating: 7/10 - Aircon: 10/10 - Brightness: 7/10 - Cleanliness: 9/10 - Shower: 3/10 good water pressure but the set up is awkward. Drainage is bad too. - Toilet: 10/10 comes with bidet - Drinks and water: 4/10 limited - Bed: 10/10 amazing sleep Overall, it's a convenient place to stay if you're new to Ho Chi Minh. The staffs are friendly too which made the stay nice.
