Neptune Paradise Beach Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

Average hotel....since the first day of my arrival, neither the TV nor the WIFI worked in my room. Furthermore, the inside of my suitcase was soiled by a forgotten wet and dirty cleaning cloth from the maid. Every day I heard the hackneyed words ＜sorry＞ over and over again. In the end, I couldn't hear those words anymore. I left the Neptune Paradise with a big disappointment...

Fabulous stay, resort is beautiful, loved our time here can’t wait to come again, all the staff are amazing, can’t do enough for you, rooms are nice, food fabulous, never got bored, loved watching the monkeys, very entertaining, beds are fabulous never slept so well, thank you Neptune can’t wait to see you all again soon

This is a stunning hotel in a beautiful location. First the negatives, cleaning inside the room and outside is very basic and replenishing coffee, sugar and tissues only done when asked. Glasses and crockery were chipped most of the time in the bar and restaurant. If you arrive from August onwards you will struggle to get a sun lounger and there are no particular areas to smoke which means people were smoking everywhere as a non smoker I struggled with this especially around the pool and bar area. Now the positives we arrived very early in the morning after a long journey and waited for a short amount of time to be allocated our room. Customer service is exceptional always with a smile management alwaysavailable and onsite. Food was excellent a great variety always cooked fresh the fish dishes were amazing and cooked to perfection. Although the hotel is on a public beach with lots of sellers they don’t badger you too much we went for long walks on there twice a day just to walk off the wonderful food. The location and grounds are stunning if you want a livelier holiday stay at the Neptune Village. There are so many wonderful qualities about this hotel except the cleanliness and expect to see lots of monkeys (keep an eye on your belongings) would thoroughly recommend this hotel we have stayed at Neptune Hotel in Zanzibar and Kenya now and highly rate the hotels as a chain.

The Neptune Paradise resort was a beautiful resort in a lovely location on the beach. Monkeys are seen everywhere including your balcony. Be careful if feeding them bananas they will fight each other to get the food. The only negative were the cleanliness was not the greatest and the maids did a very basic job of cleaning your room. The bar constantly run out of drinks and glasses. On 1 occasion I was served a glass of wine in a pint glass. Also a lot of the glasses were chipped so not very healthy. There are no rules about smoking and people were smoking everywhere. Now the positives : The customer service experience was amazing 10 out of 10. Always polite and helpful. We could not ask for anything more from the staff. The food was amazing 10 out of 10. Something different everyday and cooking fresh. As for the sun loungers they go very quick and the best thing we done was gave the towel man Ali ( Great guy ) 5 US Dollars a day. He ensured we got the sun loungers we wanted everyday. Overall the holiday was a fantastic experience and I would definitely recommend it.

Our family spent 5 nights at the Neptune Paradise after a weeklong safari. Overall, it was a really enjoyable resort. We arrived on New Year’s Eve and the celebration on the lawn was amazing, with a huge buffet that had pretty much any kind of food imaginable, including a huge fresh fruit station. The regular buffet the rest of the visit was not quite as extravagant, but still had some good options, including some authentic Kenyan dishes. There was also a nice selection of South Indian dishes. We ate one night at the special Italian restaurant that required reservations, which was a nice change of pace. The pool area was excellent, including the swim-up bar, which included alcoholic and non-alcoholic options; our kids were thrilled to learn that Shirley Temples were included in the all-inclusive. (Shout-out to the excellent bartenders, especially Mangi and Geoffrey.) The beach was excellent, clean and picturesque and generally fairly quiet (at least during our visit around the New Year). There are some beach boys who do try to sell or “guide” you, but they are pleasant enough and willing to take “no” for an answer. Rooms were generally comfortable with strong air conditioning. Wifi was great throughout the resort. The front desk was very helpful, including in receiving a couple of parcels for us (like when we needed to order aloe vera from a local pharmacy). The only significant annoyance was the need to compete for sun loungers, as there clearly are not enough for everyone when the resort is busy. This leads to a massive competition to reserve loungers first thing in the morning (or leave possessions out overnight), using towels, shirts, books, etc., and then keep the lounger all day while going to the pool, beach, meals, etc. The hotel tries to manage this by having a check-out/check-in system for towels, but people just keep the towels overnight (and then sometimes will remove towels from chairs). If there were a better way to manage the chair situation (ideally by providing enough chairs for all guests), that would be a significant improvement. The other surprise was the lack of a tip box. Based on other places we had stayed, we expected to be able to leave tips at the end for all the staff. However, the front desk said there is no tip box and we should just tip individuals as we liked, which is challenging given the number of people we interacted with and the lack of small bills. However, overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.

Hotel is amazing, working there people are really nice and helpfull. Excellent food, beautiful beach and great animation group. I loved aqua gimnastic with Mr Klint 😁💪 Interesting shows every evening. Perfect pleace to relax and spend time with family.
