I had THE BEST TIME! The people were amazing!! I got to view the most beautiful sunset! The Staff and Volunteers were always ready to help, Everyone including the chefs were friendly!! I Loved that we could have dinner as a group of strangers and we’d all tell stories by the beach! Cleanliness is top notch!!! This is definitely the place to be!!

Amazing amazing place. Hidden gem just 800m from the ocean shores. The staff are super hospitable and the place is kept very clean. They're also very accommodating and inclusive. Different diversities interact effortlessly. Enjoyed our stay 💯

I spent 3 months living in Kenya in a town near Diani, and almost every weekend my friends and I found ourselves staying at Diani Backpackers for a night or two. It is an excellent environment with friendly staff, fun activities, and a great nightlife. Out of all of the hostels I’ve stayed in I found that Diani Backpackers was always a place where almost all of the other travellers staying there became friends and would do activities together both during the daytime and at night. Additionally, I found myself simply enjoying the time I spent chatting with the staff who worked behind the bar. Overall, If you’re looking for an affordable, fun place to stay in Diani, then Diani Backpackers is definitely the way to go!

The team was friendly and the activities planned by the volunteers made my first solo trip memorable. I met a lot of friendly faces who encouraged me to explore more. You all made me feel welcomed and comfortable enough to interact with new people. It's a place I would recommend my loved ones to explore, especially the ones who are afraid of solo trips.

Stayed at Diani Backpackers for about 15 days and loved every bit of it. I love everyone on the staff- the reception, the kitchen, the support staff. Great location also. Offers so much for entertainment- a good pool, the bar, a very special sand dance floor and giant board games! The non-resident crowd coming in in the evenings during Christmas was a bit overwhelming but I'm not complaining- Diani offers a variety of fun places to go to. They also arrange regular trips to visit some amazing sights, and there are so many! Look. I had a beautiful experience. One of the reasons I'd return to Diani. Thank you DB.

Great staff and really nice people. You can stay undisturbed to finish a read or join the party for good vibes and music. Really good food with the chef taking orders way into the night. Friday nights are litt!!

I had a wonderful time. The staff was friendly, and I met nice people from diverse backgrounds. It was a great community with different daily activities, making the stay interesting. I'd totally go back there again.

Best place in Diani, amazing pool and very friendly staff, 100% recommend, 3mins walk to the beach and great music.Food is very good with a standby chef. Cool amenities like pool table, in-house club with a DJ, Fuseball and many more.
