The 300 year old Woolpack Country Inn is situated in the heart of the West Yorkshire countryside and offers contemporary accommodation within its traditional exterior. It is 4 miles from Dewsbury and offers free on-site parking.

Had a lovely lunch today at the Woolpack Country Inn at Whitley. Had the most amazing moules marinaire for starter (nicer than I've had in France! With gorgeous homemade bread. Then roast pork sunday dinner which also came with mash and 3 veg, the yorkies were as tall as the pint glass!. Will definitely be returning to try a pudding x

We have eaten here on several occasions over the years and the food has always been good but just recently the food has been poor and I can only think that they have changed their chef. The steak pie which was always good is not as nice and the chips are poor.

All of our rooms are traditionally but simply furnished, and have the benefit of being situated away from the mane building in cottage style blocks.
