Alessi Hotel Trattoria

Location,location,location! We loved it! If you are looking for a nice hotel at the town center, this is the perfect one! Breakfast is really nice and you can have it outside with a lovely view. Hotel is renovated,spacious, air-conditioned and quiet. Staff is nice. Absolutely recommended

Fabulous location, just off the main square and the bars/restaurants. Boats/ferry virtually on the doorstop, so never had to go too far if we didn't want to. Train station about 15 mins walk away, easier downhill, not so quick on the way up with bags! For some reason I was expecting a smaller family run hotel. It seemed to be much bigger than I expected and that 'family feel' was lacking unfortunately. Majority of the time there was no one at reception and other than one staff member (or family) the rest seemed pretty uninterested. The hotel room was brown and although had 2 windows, looked onto the back of the building making the room felt quite dark. It was quiet though as long as the windows were closed and the room was clean. A continental breakfast was included. We were there for a week and unfortunately after the first couple of days there was no fruit available and from day 3/4 most of the breakfast offerings were mostly gone at least half hour before breakfast ended, which led to a few disgruntled guests and a few leaving still hungry. Other than breakfast, we did eat at the hotel a couple of times. The food was nice, though I felt a bit overpriced. Service was good on the first occasion but pretty indifferent on the second occasion. It felt like the owners' priority was on running the restaurants, which were busy, both at lunchtime and evening. The hotel was very convenient but overpriced for what it offered...but then I guess we went peak time...! I don't think I would rebook the hotel if I was to go back to Desanzano.

central location in pedestrian only area, car park upon request , amazing continental buffet breakfast, all staff has been very helpful and kind especially Nicole who gave us all the infos , recommended their restaurant , we’ll be back for sure

Great informative staff. Had a very nice welcome. Good sized budget apar**ent (165). Had a balcony over looking the restaurant. Noise did not bother us at all but would recommend not this room if you like absolute quiet. Excellent room service. Location is amazing. Cant really fault anything here. Enjoy :)

Perfectly located hotel only minutes from the lake front. Lovely restaurant and bar facilities with very accommodating staff. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Good value for money. We only stayed one night, was in a good location and breakfast was pleasant enough. Would of preferred softer pillows and more than one.

The hotel has everything you wish. A great host (Bruno), new rooms, great food and the location is great. Don’t doubt to get a room, you will not be sorry. 5 min walk to the beach 5 min walk to the train station

Hotel liegt in Fußgängerzone über der Trattoria. Dort fand eine Feier statt, dementsprechend laut war es, was nicht schlimm gewesen wäre, da die Fenster hervorragend isoliert waren. Leider ging aber die Klimaanlage nicht. 2 Angestellte des Hotels haben abends dann gesagt, dass sie es nicht gelöst bekommen, da sie plötzlich nicht mehr geht, in unserem Zimmer zeigte sie auch eine Störlampe. Das kann passieren. Am nächsten Morgen wurde uns jedoch von dem Herren an der Rezeption erklärt, dass wir Deutschen uns nur immer so anstellen würden. Es wäre schließlich gar nicht zu warm und wir müssten dann ja nicht nach Italien in eine Fußgängerzone, da wären wir auch selbst schuld! Also Fazit: unsere Schuld, dass wir uns auf die Beschreibung des Hotels verlassen haben, dass sie eine Klimaanlage besitzen! Unmögliches Verhalten, seine Gäste so anzumachen
