Premier Inn Derby East

Ideal place to stay overnight travelling from the south to Alton Towers also proved good breakfast on-site. It was about 40min further to Alton, of our 3hr journey from home.

The hotel is very clean and tidy. The family room we stayed in was also very clean and spacious! Also had some biscuits, flump, strawberry milk and a fruit shoot left for the kids, which was a lovely surprise. Really enjoyed the stay and will be the main hotel we stay in now when visiting family in Derby. Also had breakfast, it was a self serve and was delicious and plenty to offer. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Lovely stay, staff very friendly and clean. Thank you to the staff again that decorated the room with a box chocolates and also decorated a table in the restaurant for my husband's birthday along with 2 glass of prosecco it was a lovely surprise.

I had a wonderful stay at this Premier Inn. All staff were very attentive and kind, particularly Chloe when booking me in and Simon at breakfast time. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and I had a great nights sleep. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Despite having to cope with a group of marauding parents and their children, who were staying over from a football tournament, the staff were absolutely brilliant. In particular I would like to say thank you to Chloe, Lauren, and the other two members of staff who were really supportive when called upon. Thank you guys, my family and I really appreciated your commi**ent to still offering a sterling service despite others making your work difficult. You did not allow the behaviours of others to prevent you from delivering a completely professional service. We look forward to returning again in the future.

room was nice. shame the bed wasnt better made. only 1 pillow each but had 2 spares in a bag. tea tray poor. only 1 of each tea, coffee and 2 of each sugar. yes there was more to collect free at reception. only 1 hand towel and 2 small bath towels for 2 people. breakfast was lovely. stuart went above and beyond to make sure there were no onions in hash browns as im allergic. the whole breakfast was amazing and keep.us going for our long journey home.. location was fab.for our venue. stuart, claire and the staff made us feel very welcome

I would like to praise sasha and Stuart for the way they handled the evening. they were extremely understaffed, they never once stopped. they was bombarded with complaints regarding waiting times for meals, they did more than anyone could of done to please customers. an absolute amazing performance they stopped the ship from sinking. sasha stuart thank you

Visited with family for breakfast, we got a very warm welcome from the receptionist who was friendly and helpful. A special mention for Simon, Louise and Saunders the Chef in the restaurant. They were all very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. They were helpful and polite and assisted us with everything we needed. A lovely and welcoming team. There was a great selection of hot and cold food which was well cooked and plentiful. Good selection of hot and cold drinks too. Everywhere was lovely and clean. All in all it was a very pleasant dining experience. Highly recommend a visit even if it is only for breakfast. Good value for money with a warm welcome.

3 Adults, 5 Kids for breakfast!!! Food was great, team were amazing! Excellent value for money. From the warm welcome on reception as we booked the car in, to fabulous service in the restaurant, even the chef checked that the food was good! We’ve eaten at Premier Inn lots of times before…by far one of the best experiences we have had!
