Bluegreen Vacations the Soundings

Hadn't stayed here since 2012. Very nice resort located with a great ocean view. They offer both an indoor and outdoor pool along with a hot tub. No fitness room and units don't have stoves or ovens, but they have a full-size refrigerator, microwave, and all the usual kitchenware. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking. We had a 2 bedroom 2 bathrooms unit which was spacious and clean. A touch of wear and tear, but overall, it was still nice and comfortable. Enjoyed our stay with the exception of our extremely noisy neighbor above us in room 2210. They were probably the worst neighbors we've ever experienced in our 20-year staying with BG resorts. It's so bad we're actually thinking about cutting our stay short. We only slept from about 12 am. to 5 am. on Friday. No better so far on Saturday, and resort can't do anything to help. Had to reduce our rating because of this experience.

review by Lynn . soundings Seaside was okay in March. The pool area and the pool itself was nice and warm and clean.. The view of Nantucket Sound was great. The modern complimentary coffee machine in the lobby was outstsanding. The staff were very helpful. There was a huge firepit area with comfortable chairs around. The old fashioned hot tub was nice and was gated. The room had a nice gas fireplace which kept the room cozy. The unit itself had a modern full kitchen. Each bedroom had a TV.

I 've been going there for over 5 years. I booked the resort by RCI ., When I arrived the front desk was very rude.When I was told were my room was I told her that I had called and that I spoke to someone and was told if it was possible I would like Ocean view.. She replied that was the room I was assigned to because I was a RCI member.AS I replied that isn't true because I've been getting ocean views..The room we stay in the main building It's was 2 bedroom and very small for 5 people.You couldn't even sit and eat together only sit 4 the table and chairs table was wobbly in the stools with metal.There was small pieces of glass in the living room and kitchen.We were very disappointed in the condition of the room. i

We chose to stay here because for family health reasons we needed to be in this area. The unit was okay, but certainly not what I would call a 4 star timeshare. The living room is small and the seating is not very plush. The only place to eat was at a high-top bar in the kitchen, which was not comfortable for me after having had knee replacement surgery. The tables in the living room were not appropriate for eating at or something like a jigsaw puzzle or game. This specific unit was facing the pool and not really appropriate for sitting outside of (given that it was winter, this did not matter but it would be important in the summer). There was no obvious place to hang up clothing to dry. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were adequate in size but there was very little place to unpack and clothing. The indoor heated pool was a feature that helped us choose this timeshare but it was closed from the middle of the week - probably because not many people were staying there but still disappointing. Other features common in what I would consider a 4 star timeshare were lacking; for example, no workout room/gym. The location is wonderful and the staff are very good but we would not return.

This rresort is a great place to enjoy November with less crowds which also means less establishmentss open, but there were plenty of places to eat, drink and listen to music. We walked the beaches (Mayflower and Seagull), which were wide open and great places to enjoy, but need to dress for the elements. We also walked on the bike trail. We enjoyed are selves and were able to relax!!
