Little Duke Hotel

It is very convenient around 500m from the train station and also there are a lot of resturants and super markets nearby. Room is a bit small and not so good in cleaness especially the kettle seems rusty.

Heerlijk centraal, vlak bij station. Eenvoudige kamer, maar wel alles erop en eraan wat nodig is: heetwatermaker voor koffie en thee inclusief zakjes, koelkast, douche, toilet, kledinghangers, voldoende stopcontacten. Er mag wel een goede leeslamp bij het bureau!

We had the big room (in cold coulours) with a lot of windows looking and a view on the roundabout with fountain and the station in the background. The room was clean and spacy with two fauteuils, a table and a good kingsize bed. The bathroom was small, but okay. The ventilation of the airco was not to be stopped and the flap not to close (disabled said the display), so we had to adjust the temperature during the day to about 23 degrees to have it comfortable and at night we lowered the temperature to 18 degrees and had to stay under the blankets because of the cold wind. The mini-bar was - to our unpleasant surprise and great disappointment - empty, while that was the main reason that we accepted the high price of € 176,-- for only one night stay, without no elevator, no breakfast included and a digital unwelcome reception, where people struggled in front of us to check in and get the roomkey outof the system, while we had to wait to fill in again the details we filled in at home via online check-in, before we got the key. We then had to climb the steeple stairs with high steps to get our luggage to reach. To make a long story short: the location near to the station is okay and the room, bed etc. in general also, but the price is much too high. We travel a lot and pay for one night on many places about € 50,-- to € 70,-- less for a better room and reception. We will not return and will tell our friends not to follow our example.

This hotel is perfect for travelers on foot. Across from the station and centrally situated it's the boutique version of the sister hotel, The Duke, further in. Note there are no lifts, and steep steps if you are older and have suitcases. Situated in an old stable block the rooms are individually themed. Watch out though, photos on booking sites are deceiving. . Better to ask beforehand re size of rooms. Ours was claustrophobically small with sloping ceiling and a very tiny window you could not open and within arms reach of the next building. Thus not justifying the Room charge. Breakfast is off site at the Coffee lab next door. Solid breakfast..

Litte Duke was what we expected. Next to the railwaystation, nice room and a little walk to the centre of the city. The room was clean and the bed was nice.

Small but cosy and clean room. The bed took up most of the room,but there was a desk and chair which was useful. Bathroom small but fine. The bed and pillows were very comfy and I slept well. A little bit noisy when people were going in and out of their rooms. Also the roof window wouldn't shut, but that was fine for me. Overall a nice boutique hotel in a great location for the train station and restaurants/shops.

Fine, no-frills hotel close to railway station and town centre. Clean, good beds. Small rooms, but fully equipped with minibar, water cooker. Small, but good bathroom. Good value for money. You need to climb stairs (no elevator). The TV does not have TV channels, only Netflix (you need to access it with your own subscription) and YouTube. Good for a short business or private stay. @ staff: please refill the tea and sugar bags.

great location, easy parking under the train station. Breakfast was also very good. Is beter geared towards couples or tourist, but for business there was nothing wrong. The lights in the room are very dark so it is a little difficult to read the laptop screen in the evening.
