Umaid Palace - Luxury Resort Near Jaipur Close to Bhangarh & Chand Baori Stepwell Abhaneri

A wonderful staycation in an idyllic location in the laptop of nature. The accommodation was very warm and comfortable. The food at the restaurant was just right for the palate. The resort has many activities sporting and non sporting including a wonderful swimming pool. What tops everything is the courteous staff who were caring and very hospitable.

Everything was wonderfull, a pleasant and quiet place, where time seemed to have returned to the past. Excellent dinner and spacious clean rooms. Thanks to the staff and the very kind girl who dressed me in a salmon-colored sari, which I would really like to have

This place doesn't deserve even a single star. It's an absolute disgrace to the hospitality industry. I booked a stay here based on the promises listed on their own website – promises that turned out to be blatant lies. Upon arrival, the "complimentary services" advertised were nowhere to be found. When I brought this to the attention of the reception staff, they initially denied everything, then resorted to pathetic excuses and outright rudeness when I presented their own website as proof. The location is a complete trap - it's in the middle of absolutely nowhere, making you entirely dependent on their awful services. And "awful" is an understatement. The room service is a joke. They're rude, unhelpful, and seemingly allergic to providing basic amenities. I was refused extra cups and glasses, told they simply "didn't have any." The in-room consumables were shockingly poor quality – from the water to the shampoo, everything felt cheap and unpleasant. And forget about anything extra. They actually tried to give me a used comb, claiming it was "on call"! Absolutely disgusting! The staff are unbelievably small-minded and nickel-and-dime you for every single thing. It's clear they're desperately trying to squeeze every last rupee out of their guests. And the harassment didn't stop after I checked out! I've received multiple phone calls from the reception desk demanding more money for supposed "unpaid charges." They claim the owner is forcing them to do this – a clear indication of the predatory and dishonest management. This hotel is a rip-off, a captive nightmare, and an insult to anyone looking for a comfortable and honest stay. Save yourself the headache, the frustration, and the potential financial exploitation – STAY FAR, FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! You'll thank me later.

Very nice view and very good hospitality and very nice people and very good food. The rooms were very big and very neet and clean. they have very nice lake view also and I will love to visit again here

We booked a package deal for 9k per night including taxes (Junior Suite). The room size is quite decent ***** with the furniture. Quite puzzling that it has kundi aka holdfast lock for every door including the bathroom! They are constructing a second property within the same premises which doesn't produce too much noise but does produce a lot of dust. Chand Baori is the only thing we planned our 3 night stay *****. It was fantastic. The food is the biggest letdown. The "organic tag" doesn't do any justice. Comprehend the following: INR 600 Curry INR 400 Steam Rice INR 400 French Fries 3/4 items for breakfast. Just plain greediness with dhaba style cooking! I mean come on, stop fleecing domestic tourists! There is no other decent place to eat for a 40 km radius. There is barely anything for kids to be entertained. On our third day we went to Devi Ratn which will be a Taj property from Jan 2025 to have lunch. With a 25% discount on Tata Neu card it was a lavish meal and cheaper than this place! I would not recommend this property to anyone.
