Summit Grace Boutique Hotel & Spa

I recently stayed at Summit Grace Boutique Hotel and Spa (Darjeeling) and would say that I have had the best experience as compared to any other hotels where I have stayed earlier. The various factors which have led me to this conclusion are : 1. HOSPITALITY The amazing hospitality of the staff, be it at the reception or the housekeeping or the restaurant or any other department. They have been very helpful, friendly and supportive with their outstanding and dedicated service with which they catered to every guest with a smile. Incident 1 : Even at 1:30 a.m. when I faced some issue, just one phone call at the reception was needed to sort out the issue within 10 minutes. Incident 2 : In our neighbouring room, a kid was there and the parents were trying to arrange for milk for the child at around 10:00 p. And the restaurant staff coordinated amongst themselves and arranged for that within 10 - 15 minutes. Incident 3 : I am allergic to a few food items and those were there in the buffet but still they managed to specially arrange for food without using those food ingredients and prepare items separately for me without any additional charges. Incident 4 : We changed our room from the Deluxe Room to the Chalet Room and some of the T.V. channels were not subscribed. We called the reception and they immediately got the recharge done and within a few minutes all required channels were made available. 2. LOCATION : The location of the hotel is away from the crowds of the city and Mall Road and is located at a higher level up the hills which gives us not only a calm and peaceful environment for a vacation but also an amazing view of the city, the tea gardens and most importantly the Kanchenjunga right from our room's window / balcony. 3. RESTAURANT AND FOOD : Thr quality and the quantity of food was too good and the taste enriched more with the hospitality of the restaurant staff who sometimes considering our food allergies, especially prepared certain dishes without adding those ingredients which created allergic reactions and all this was done without any additional charges to help us savour them and enjoy our meals. I would highly recommend Summit Grace Boutique Hotel to everyone and Thanking the entire team of the hotel for making this trip so special and memorable.

Our travel agent Galaxy Tours and Treks booked this hotel, and obviously I saw the beautiful photoshopped pics. The is part of Summit Range hotels. It’s an old building with lots of stairs. We were shown the 2 chalet rooms. One of the had the balcony but is was next to noisy machinery so we knew we won’t be using the place. This chalet with balcony was smaller also and its floor boards were creaking. We took the other option 401. It was slightly bigger but had the creaking floorboards as you enter the bathroom space. Though there is constant supply of hot water the bathroom smelled was masked well. By the next morning the stench of urine was unbearable. I had to ask for housekeeping to scrub the bathroom but they just added liquid freshener which just masked the smell. The upstairs room with bed is good in concept however it was dark despite lights. Also the ceiling arch doesn’t help for a tall person and you have watch your head when getting out of bed. The downstairs bed was not cleaned and made either because it was stained and dirty. Kitchen has limited continental food options and somethings like puri was too chewy. Summit hotels have QR code system which has the option of all day dining. However when we tried to order they told us that kitchen would open at 7.30.pm. So we went out to have dinner and see the market place. Overall after staying Shanker Palatial and other 4* hotels, this place is pale in comparison and worth questioning why it is a 4* hotel. The ammenities are baud and standard as in all hotels.

It was great experience. The staff and management team are very helpful and well mannered. I want to share one incident, I forgot my Swarovski necklace in the room on side table of bed and that is quite costly, when I reach Siliguri I realised and immediately I calle to the hotel, and you won't believe within a 20 minutes they solved my problem and next day they courier my good to my address and now I have it with me. I want to say big thank you to Niyati and Savina, they are honest and helpful because of the theme my necklace is with me. Thank you so much

I had a wonderful stay at Summit Grace Boutique Hotel and I am truly overwhelmed by the hospitality and service. From the warm welcome at check-in to the comfort of the beautifully maintained room, everything exceeded my expectations. The cleanliness, attention to detail, and peaceful ambience made my stay extremely pleasant. The breakfast spread was fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. Every staff member I interacted with was courteous, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring a great guest experience. I sincerely thank the entire team for making my stay so memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Darjeeling and would love to come back again.

It was amazing stay at summit, they gave us complimentary upgrade which was very generous and special mention to the staff and restaurant cook Royal and Nabin was very well behaved

Really the pillows are the fluffiest I felt ever , location, hospitality, receptionist especially breakfast is Outstanding all items cooked tasty and delicious. Very specially here I have to mention Mr. Vivek who is really an energetic, enthusiastic,handsome and and more . I wish to recommend him to Hotel Authority for a upper level standing in his occupation.
