Lamahatta Residency

Dear fello travellers! Writing this review very late as we stayed at this mind blowing beautiful place in Nov 2021. Throughout last 3 years, I thought that I was doing injustice to the excellent team at Lamahatta Residency by not writing a review for the care they take of each and every guest. Ashwin and team, I still remember you, great job done. You guys are great. From food to hospitality, everything was exceptional. Anju Ma'am, the sweet and kind lady who was really helpful and got booking at the last moment for us in Darjeeling at Hotel Alice Villa. Thank you so much Ma'am! Guys, this is the best place to stay in Lamahatta. Don't go by negative reviews. I don't know how come one not like such beautiful place and genuine team. Rooms: Well made, comfortable, impeccable clean washrooms, perfect view of glacial mountains, working TV, sound sleep. Food: Fresh, Tasty and in good quantity. Absolute value for money. Do try the local drink(beer) that is made from local herbs. Tangy and different in taste. Served in bamboo jar with hot water, it is a must try. Team: Very very nice people Location: Great. You will love it. If you are planning to visit Lamahatta, stop searching for the hotels and just head to this place. You'll definitely thank me 😊 I'd certainly like to visit again. Happy travelling!

Excellent view of Mt. kanchenjunga and the valley. The pine forest at the back side of the room is excellent. The staff is great. This is much better than Darjeeling. No unnecessary crowd. There is not much to do in tukdah. But you can rest and enjoy the scenic view.

The staff members was excellent, and the rooms were clean and quite comfy. They went further than expected to make sure we had a good time. I wholeheartedly support this residence to anyone travelling to Darjeeling. Fantastic views can be enjoyed from the rooms. The view of the sleeping Buddha Range during the day, the setting sun at the golden hour, and the starry night sky the entire night would mesmerise you! Hospitality - 5 Star Food - 4.5 Clean room - 5 Star View from room - 5 Star I really enjoyed the moments.

We loved our visit to this amazing hotel. Special mention for Prema and Sanjana, such lovely people. The view from the hotel is exceptional and truly divine. They also have a spiritual corner which is mesmerising I would definitely visit the hotel again
