Holiday Inn Express & Suites Fort Lauderdale Airport South

-Hotel was fine, perfect for flights or people going on cruises. Not much food options nearby, and not enough seating in breakfast area. Hotel was clean, Shuttle to hotel/ back was a bit of a mess. The hotel is about a 5 minute drive and the shuttle takes about 30-45 minutes to arrive. Plan ahead if you need to go to the airport...we ended up having to uber it to the airport in the morning due to it not being able to pick us up from the hotel for 45 minutes

I have been a rewards member with Holiday Inn since 2015 and always stay with them. Until now. This Holiday Inn Ft. Lauderdale Airport South is the WORST I have ever stayed at. It's not the hotel or the rooms, those were great, it was the staff, the shuttle service, and several peopleI spoke to on the phone. One of the reasons I chose this Holiday Inn was the shuttle service. I few in to Ft Lauderdale and arrived just after midnight. I called for the "24" hour shuttle and was told that it ended at 11 pm...they lied and I took an Uber $$$. (I found out they lied when I returned) Next, my flights changed so I needed to stay another night but they were full. No problem, I understand. I asked if they could help me find another roon at another one of their hotels. I was told "You can probably do better online.", but it seemed they didn't want to be bothered to help me, so I found a room at a competitors hotel. After my trip out of the country, I returned for one night as a "layover". I arrived in Ft Lauderdale exhausted after a long day of long travel and I was returning to the aitport the next day. It was about 6:30pm, I went to the hotel shuttle area to wait. I called in case it needed to be reserved, and could not reach ANYONE at the hotel. So I called the reservation line and after another 15 minutes was told it would arrive in 15-20 minutes. After waiting anther 20-30 minutes I called again. This went on and on for over 2 hours, lie after lie person after person.

Staff is very accommodating and friendly. Room was nice and clean. We did not have to wait too lomg for early check-in considering the time we arrived and it was well before 3pm

We enjoyed our stay. Room was very clean. Floor in room did not have carpets, but a laminate flooring, which was great. Receptionists were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was okay. An A grade from us.

Very close to airport. Free shuttle from airport took less than 15 minutes from call to dropping us off. Easy check in. Good breakfast. We walked all over as we didn’t want to rent a car as we were there for only long weekend.

The ac was so loud couldn't run so stuffy room all night. Traffic noise was non stop all night. They put us in the worst room!!!

Asked and setup a wake up call but it did not happen Was down waiting for the shuttle at 3:00 am. When I asked at 3:12 where is the shuttle the man behind the desk was short. When I looked for the shuttle he called and let us know it was held up by the train. So he did assist The lady at the checkin was however great and very helpful even though she was very busy.

The bed is so darn comfortable,sleeping on a cloud.The staff was very helpful and courteous.The breakfast buffet was marvelous too.We enjoyed our stay!!!

A little shady in areas around the property. The staff was friendly and we liked our room. We would stay again.
