L Hotel Sarigerme

Very loud place. The restaurant manager was yelling and thinking it is a fun for the guests. The food is average, very few Turkish options. Rooms are clean and with a good design. Very close to the airport. It was a temporary stay for a few hours for me so cannot valuate breakfast

This is our third visit to L after falling in love with the hotel and village just 12 months ago! The hotel itself is just as beautiful as we left it with some changes and new additions but all of which have been a positive impact to the overall hotel. Firstly the breakfast is now self service and offers a range of foods with the option of fresh eggs being made however you chose on top of this! This 100% feels like a better process especially avoiding any food waste from the plates that were offered previously. Everything is well laid out and easy to identify and covered very well to say it’s an ‘outside buffet’. The food outside of breakfast has also improved, (not that it needed to) we would normally eat out most of the time but found ourselves eating at the hotel 8/10 nights! The new chefs are outstanding and the waiting time is incredible for such good food, often the food would come before I’d even realise! Everything is extremely reasonably priced especially for the quality delivered. Ali G and Devran are of course noticeable presences at the hotel bar and go above and beyond in every way to make your day more enjoyable. I have never seen either of these boys without a smile on their face even at their busiest, they go out of their way to make sure they acknowledge every guest and learn their names, something so small but makes the world of difference! They are a major reason we have come back so often and will continue to do so they are a credit to the L hotel and the hospitality industry. The new staff being introduced to the bar are in very good hands and are following suit with the boys perfectly! The bar is always a great atmosphere and most days you’ll find yourself looking at the clock for them to arrive! Both Ali and Dev will make you feel like you’ve been friends with them for years! As long as these boys are doing what they do best we’ll be back! As we were there, a new little boutique opened (luckily it opened on our last day!) this is ran by the very beautiful Aygun who 100% has an eye for fashion! The bits inside are hand picked, the BEST quality and even better prices! I brought the most beautiful little Hermes bag from them and I’ve had nothing but compliments from anyone who’s seen it! This is a great addition to the hotel and both Aygun and Ismail are extremely helpful and happy to be around. If you go to the hotel 100% nip in and say hello as you won’t be disappointed! A couple of other people who sometimes get overlooked in Tripadvisor but also make the holiday just as special Day reception staff- ALWAYS welcomes you with a smile, regardless of if this is check in, walking past the window, going for breakfast it doesn’t matter they both go above and beyond every time and just makes it feel that bit more like home. Both girls will always answer any questions you have and are honestly just a pleasure to be around full stop. This was our first time to Sarigerme, and we were delighted that it was only a 25 minute transfer from the airport. The Hotel was clean and very accommodating as we added a third guest to our room which we had informed the hotel about prior to our arrival. They said they could put an extra bed in the upstairs room or we could upgrade to the swim up room which we chose to do, as this had a double and twin beds in. We did not regret it as it made our holiday. All the staff were cheerful, helpful and friendly and we enjoyed the fact it was a small, quiet hotel, but only an 10 minute walk from the main area. The swim up rooms are mostly in the shade by 2pm, however, we never found it a problem to walk across to the sun beds on the opposite side of the pool which stayed in the sun until around 5pm. For us, this was fine as that was more than enough sun for the day and We never had a problem, getting three sunbeds together. The food was very good and priced similarly to places in town. We really enjoyed the fresh fruits and cheeses for breakfast too. Lovely, happy staff in the cafe area. No complaints about the hotel at all although Sarigerme was disappointing for us as we had hoped for a traditional Turkish village, but what we got was a main road full of neon signs and all the shops, selling rip-off shoes, handbags clothing etc. Great if that’s what you wanted, but not for us. The walk to the beach is uninspiring walking down a dirt road with broken pavements and no views, however, the beach was lovely (grey sand) and there were plenty of sun beds available in the L hotel area. I would recommend the 3 hour boat trip organised on the beach, which had lovely swim stops with great caves to swim into and at a reasonable price. The hotel didn’t seem to utilise its space well as both the large rooftops terraces were empty - possibly because it’s later in the season? All the rooms seemed to be occupied though at all times so I’m not sure why? I would love to go to this hotel again if we could move it to a different location!! Recommend going on the local minibus to Dalyan which is really beautiful and felt like a much more classy area with a lot more to see and do. Please move the L hotel here for the perfect holiday!

We had a great stay at L Hotel. Lovely balcony room and close to the pool. Pool was large and big enough to swim lengths, and plenty of sunbeds by the pool. Restaurant had a varied menu for lunch and dinner and breakfast was included in the morning with a range of food to choose from. Friendly bar staff and especially Simon who made a difference by ensuring to interact with guests. L Hotel is a short walk down to the beach which was perfect for snorkelling. Would recommend a hire car to ensure you can travel to places outside Sarigerme, free parking outside the hotel.

Very nice hotel, it’s close to the beach, and close to a local street full of markets, clothing stores, restaurants. The hotel is very clean and tidy, amazing staff too, they really do make an effort to entertain and be supportive. The rooms are great too, they’re quite big, and well laid out, with a generous amount of space for the wardrobes itself. Every room has a balcony, which we made use of. The pool was very nice, overall atmosphere is great, I highly recommend this place.

Had one of the best holidays we've ever had. All of the staff are absolutely lovely and welcoming and even though the hotel itself only quite small it makes up for it with character. Rooms: Spacious, beds were comfortable, room was cleaned every day, aircon is phenomenal and included is a safe and mini bar (items are chargeable for this) Food: The food on site was of good quality with a varied menu, breakfast was traditional Turkish and also the staff will cook omelette or eggs of your choosing. Staff: All staff including reception, cleaners and catering staff really go out of their way to ensure your stay is enjoyable and loved the banter from Ali and Simon. Pool: Pool is in a L shape design and we always found available sunbeds. The lower floors at the hotel have swim up rooms which just adds to the experience. Pool is a bit cooler than the sea and about 1.5m deep. Other: Even though food prices are good at the hotel there is a little shop Asli Market situated about 30m away which is ideal for snacks and drinks and their prices are so cheap. The beach is about a 12 minute walk away and when you get checked in at the hotel you get issued a wristband which means you can use a section of sunbeds on the beach free of charge during your stay. Also at the beach is an a great cafeteria where you can purchase drinks, food and homemade pancakes made in a traditional Turkish way. 10 mins walk in the opposite direction is the main ***** of Sarigerme. The shop sellers are a bit pushy however all are respectful. We found an excellent restaurant called the dolphin, the food was more expensive than the hotel however it was definitely worth it and we had our evening meal here most of the time. We did initially book the X Life Hotel but changed hotels due to the terrible reviews and we are so glad we did. This was a perfect low stress holiday which was well needed especially over our wedding anniversary. Forgot to say we also did a couple of trips which included visiting a traditional Turkish spa and also going to the mud baths and turtle beach which was once again good value for money and just added a special touch to such a wonderful holiday.

Where to start with this wonderful hotel. The staff are all helpful, kind and knowledgeable, nothing is too much trouble for them and they are the heart of the hotel. We had room 119, which is the end apartment with swim up room. It’s large, the master bed is separated by a screen from the bunk beds, which are all comfortable and spacious. The shower is powerful and always lots of hot water. The breakfast is Turkish traditional, with cereal and other bits for the more English taste also eggs and omelette’s cooked fresh on request. A lovely unusual addition is the free hot drinks all day at the pool bar, u can just help yourself, tea’s, different coffee’s, hot chocolate and the Turkish tea has to be tried. We also ate lunch in the hotel most days and it was v reasonable. The small town is set up for English taste and all the bars and shops are really welcoming. The steaks were some of the best I have ever had, and all quite fairly priced - v short walk) The beach and sea are amazing - we are not big beach goers but with the sea being so warm we couldn’t stay away (8 min walk) We did two organised trips for £80 and £85 which were fantastic and fun (12 island and mud baths) really well organised and the food was good and plentiful on both, again the staff were really attentive and wanted to add to your experience. I couldn’t believe how many staff were on board spraying the handrails to keep them clean and going over the tables, everything was presented well. We also got a private taxi to the port which was about £50 return and the drive waited four hours for us, he spoke very little English but was so friendly and we understood where we had to meet him for pick up. We also did water sports which we were picked up from our beach by speedboat and taken to, they give u a go pro to film urself (I felt the £25 to put the video on your phone was a bit steep) We went for two weeks and it was one of the most relaxing holidays I have every had… Ali G and the team go out of there way to make sure u are made to feel welcome, especially when he rock, paper, sissored me to which one of us was being thrown in the pool!!! He won unfortunately and he pushed me straight in no hesitation! He was often entertains the children and at the end of his shift he let the children push him in! It was a lovely atmosphere around the pool with lots of lovely other holiday makers, with the hotel being small it was nice that everyone was so friendly. Well done everyone for making such a lovely welcoming holiday destination.
