Overall good hotel but not top class service. Not clear instructions at the front desk, didn’t tell us where to go, where our room was and what to expect, we had cleaner/handyman knocking 5 times at the door starting 8.30am the same day we were checking out. Other than that, beautiful hotel and location and clean place.

The hotel itself is very classy and the staff is phenomenal. The room, although lacking a tub, was nice and updated. There are plenty of amenities in the room as well. My only complaint was for a 5 star hotel the towels were small, thin and cheap like you might find at a Comfort Suites. The soap, shampoo and body wash in the shower was not to dissimilar from the towels. Bring your own supplies!
We did try the restaurant for breakfast and the staff once again were phenomenal. The food however was meh…I had a ham omelette and it was overdone and slightly burned. It was served with a salad which was brown lettuce and vinaigrette. My spouse ordered the eggs Benedict which was served with about a 1/4” thick slice of ham and two eggs overdone and hard.
The Rodeo bar served exceptional cocktails and the environment is sublime. Many cozy places to sit, fireplace…quite relaxing.

Everything about us stay at the Adolphus is fantastic. The staff, the property, the quality, and especially the service. We enjoyed our weekend at the Adolphus very much, and will return.

Fantastic room. The hotel is older but that’s part of the charm. Maintenance seems fair for its age. The decor is modern and staff is pleasant.
My one complaint is that the room doors rattle the whole wall when we or the neighbors exit.

The property is gorgeous and luxurious. However, their check in process and valet was painfully slow. I understand it was the holiday rush but I felt for that level of hotel, it should be more seamless.

Very classy hotel; used their shuttle to a restaurant and service was great and pickup was quick; front desk staff very snotty re us using ******* booking; valet personnel were very nice, but car retrieval at checkout took FOREVER and when we got car, our cooler had been turned over (bc of erratic driving ?????) and entire car was soaked; hot water in shower was almost non-existent

Central location is a plus. Appreciated the car service to venues close by. Alejandro gave us excellent service.
The room: 1602: Hot water took forever! Telephone kept cutting out (until the battery was changed). TV connection was intermittent. Late Saturday evening the TV wouldn't go on at all.
This shouldn't happen in a 5* hotel.

This vintage and classic hotel did not disappoint. We found it to be true to tradition yet modern in approach and amenities. The staff was friendly and tuned in to the needs of guests. The restaurants and bars were excellent as well.
