Deep Ellum Hostel

-The staff are very homely and inviting. -There are loads of foods and cold beverages in stock beside the front desk. -The dorms smell amazing and are cleaned very well. Also fully stocked with tissue, paper towels, soap, etc.) -There's a fully-equipped kitchen along with a collection of books to read in the comfy lobby. The only complaint I have is that occasionally you will see gnats flying about in the bathrooms, and hiding in the trash can of the bedroom. The bunk bed was very comfortable along with the 2 giant pillows. I had an amazing stay, and will definitely come back the next time I visit Dallas 🙏

The bed was very comfy and the people at the office were very nice. Unfortunately, this place is really dirty even with all the efforts of the housekeeper who is trying to do her best every day. The bathrooms are really dirty, the toilets also, even the kitchen isn't clean. It's mostly other visitors who didn't clean after themselves, but you really don't want to go after them.

This was our first stay in a hostel, different, funky but very cool . Great location with tons of entertainment and dining all within walking distance. Parking is limited and kinda pricey use meters if possible, can download app to pay. Will recommend reserving room #10 its has its on private shower. Great place with beautiful setting.

Dentro de su segmento de mercado, puedo decir que sus instalaciones tienen una muy buena calidad. Buenos espacios de socialización (lobby y otra sala en el 2o piso) comedor donde los huéspedes pueden guardar y consumir sus propios alimentos, lavandería, suficiente cantidad de baños, limpios. Sin embargo puedo decir que yo siendo una persona que no tiene problemas para dormir, aquí con ellos no pude descansar. El propio Hostal tienen en el primer piso un Bar y exactamente arriba están las habitaciones compartidas. El ruido es moderado (se aísla bien) sin embargo, además del ruido se siente la vibración del sonido y me fue imposible dormir y la música termina a las 3:30 AM Adicionalmente, él recepción hay tapones de oídos, lo cual ya de por si es una muy mala señal. Pregunté al llegar y me dijeron que la zona esta rodeada de Bares y eso lo hacía muy ruidosa en la noche, pero la verdad es que el problema no es la zona y el problema no es tanto el ruido, que como ya mencioné es moderado, pero para mi, como ya lo expliqué, el problema fue la vibración que genera el sonido estando el Bar debajo de las camas. Considero desleal que no especifiquen que es el Bar del propio Hostal el que esta debajo de las camas el que hace que los huespedes no puedan dormir. I consider it disloyal that they do not specify that it is the Bar of the Hostel itself that is under the beds that makes the guests unable to sleep.
