Let me start by saying that we have been to almost every Sandals resort. We have found a level of consistency amongst the chain, never been sick, never had a "real" problem and typically get 8-10 scuba dives in per week. I'll start with the Diving since this is always our focus. I have already voiced my concerns with Ryan, the water sports manager. People come to Curacao to dive. Sandals needs to be better prepared for this. In 15 years I have never been denied a dive because the boat was full- but we missed the sunday dive due to the crowds. You can sign up 2 days ahead of each dive- but in many other resorts- we sign up for the week and the "stress" is gone. It always felt competitive at the dive shop trying to secure at spot. The other nice thing here is the morning dive is later- 9 am. So there is actually time to enjoy breakfast first! (I even got in my 7 am pilates, breakfast AND diving!) BUT only 2-tank dives on M, W and FRIDAY. Though they sometimes have a 2 pm dive.... it seemed hit and miss. That said- the diving is amazing!!! Absolutely stunning each time. We saw many sea turtles, ridiculously large green moray eels, beautiful queen Angel fish, crabs, etc. Comparable to the Piton Dives in St.Lucia (my absolute fav). The dive staff do their very best- HUGE shout outs to both Suzette and Joyanne for all their help (and for sharing my birthday). It is CHAOTIC in the dive shop and I am sympathetic to their issues. The cocktail party for divers was a nice touch! really enjoyed that. All the dive masters are professional and fun- Thanks Ridley, Darnell, Captain Furry (LOL) etc. Loved you all. YOU NEED MORE DIVE BOATS. It's always busy- you know it. Fix it. (and if a boat is under repair - BORROW another one. I get one week of vacation- I don't want to waste it) I didn't think I liked the weird beach/pier situation initially- but with rough seas and winds- I can see the great appeal of being able to enjoy calm waters no matter what. I did some SUP which was fun. I never had issue getting a covered spot on the beach- but I also enjoy the morning! (less problematic than other Sandals locations TBH- less butler coolers reserving spots on the beach- maybe they are all at the pool) I wanted to make a special note to say THANK YOU to Carmen- the 7 am pilates instructor. She is amazing. Knows her stuff. I have always said the Sandals needs MORE of this. No way am I using the gym on vacation inside- but PLEASE incorporate more exercise into my week! The pilates was TOUGH and amazing. Add YOGA, add a SUP race, add a pickleball tournie to utilize those amazing courts! Please add more movement to my week for people like me who can't sit still.... not just drinking games by the pool (which I never partake in) Other differences: LOVED the bikes on property- very cool. Great restaurants- including expansion of the coffee shop to include a wine/cheese bar. LOVED not making reservations except for 2 restaurants. (which were both amazing and extra sp
