The Grove Cromer

There is really only one word I could you use for our stay at The Grove and that is “FANTASTIC”. Everything was spot on and perfect the room very cosy and comfortable, the staff always helpfull, polite and courteous, the food tasted amazing and you could tell it was cooked fresh using the finest ingredients. If you are looking for a great place to stay for a night or two or just somewhere for an unforgettable meal than The Grove is the place to go.

As usual stayed in the The Cottage which is in the grounds of the Grove, we love it sooooo much just right for the 2 of us .Cozy and warm the wheat her was amazing so a lovely walk through the woods that can be reached through the grounds of the Grove and a walk along the cliff top ,watched the golfers then back along the beach. Spent a day in Sheringham then Cromer easy to get to by the bus which we caught just round the corner from The Grove ,perfect Cromer Crab baguette and ice cream,walk along the pier then back to the cottage. Our perfect retreat !, Can’t wait for the next one

a lovely 2 day break and only took it because of Red letter days voucher. Excellent publicity. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. room (7) spacious and comfortable - only complaint was the mattress. Restaurant beyond expectations though was hoping for Cromer Crab

Overall a very comfortable stay. The private pool and beautiful gardens make this a very special place to stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Delicious, high quality food too- a really generously portioned English breakfast. Thank you.

We have just spent a wonderful 3 nights staying at the Grove. This family run hotel is truly a great place to stay with all staff very friendly and welcoming. Set just below a coastal wood and very near to the main town of Cromer it has some lovely walks for you to explore with the main town only a 10 minute walk. We stayed in room 6 in the main hotel which is decorated in period furniture and was very relaxing. Full tea and coffee making facilities in the room with a host of different tea's to try. The restaurant is a must experience to try and exceed's expectations with choice-taste and presentation, i had the 3 pork main dish with local fresh vegetables-delicious. The full English breakfast is the best i have tasted with everything all locally sourced-sausages-mushrooms-bacon eggs 1st class, lots of other choices also equally 1st class. For those who like a swim they also have a heated pool which has exclusive use if you book for a 45 minute slot. Fully recommend a stay if you want to try something very special.

Excellent food and friendly staff,the only downsize was they seem to have introduced a service/gratuity charge on the bill which is not published anywhere according to my calcultations?Apologies if my maths were not correct! We will still return however.
