Welcome to Sunset Sanctuary, a house designed to calm the mind and recharge the spirit! The wood stove fireplace is cozy, the sunsets are breathtaking and you may even see a whale! Gray Whales pass by during their migration and Pilot Whales live in the area year-round! The nearest beach access is just a block away. There is an access road that leads down to Preston Island. This is a rocky beach for the most part but there are sandy stretches for a pleasant walk with your pet (which we are happy to host!). Enjoy the majesty of the waves crashing against the nearby rocks and cliffs! The nearest swimming/surfing beach is Crescent Beach just about a 5-minute drive away! Crescent City's newest vacation rental in the most amazing oceanfront location! Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Pictures don’t do this place justice!
We came to Crescent City to visit the Redwoods and we feel so lucky to have been able to get a reservation at this amazing place. The decor is cheery and right up my alley. Every room has an incredible view! Waking up to the ocean was dreamy. After hiking all day in the redwoods it was so comforting to come back to this place and chill. The views on the back patioare priceless. It

Charming Beach House with Stunning Views!
We had such a wonderful stay at this beach house! The decor and furnishings were absolutely adorable—stylish, cozy, and full of charm. Every room felt thoughtfully designed, making it a joy to spend time indoors as well as out. The views were truly breathtaking—we loved waking up to the ocean right outside our window and watching sunsets from the deck. The whole space felt bright, airy, and incredibly comfortable, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Shawn was a fantastic host—responsive, helpful, and made sure everything was just right for our stay. We can’t wait to come back!

This was such a cute little cottage-like beach house on the older side but very functional and beautiful. The view of the beach was amazing! We all were very happy with choosing this home over a hotel.
