Foresteria Palazzo Guazzoni Zaccaria

Grand palazzo which is now a hotel. Our room was enormous with a large comfortable bed, and there was also a sitting room,along with the bathroom. Furnished with antiques. The rest of the hotel was spectacular - especially the beautiful central courtyard - and worth exploring. The hotel is a short walk to Cremona’s central square and dining options. It offers parking and air conditioning. Friendly management.

My husband and I stayed last week in the Palazzo and had an unforgettable experience: the Palazzo is a most beautiful historical place with a modern guesthouse equipped with all modern facilities to make one feel pampered and comfortable. Roberto, who is in charge, gave us a very warm welcome and made every effort to make us happy. And Michela is there to provide help in English. There is a free parking adjacent to the Palazzo. The only drawback that I can think of is that you cannot have breakfast in the Palazzo. Yet if I come back to Cremona, it will definitely be to the Palazzo Guazzoni Zaccaria

Abbiamo dormito in tre stanze del palazzo ( stanze e ‘ riduttivo perché sono immense ) tutto curato nei minimi particolari. Atmosfera d’altri tempi unica rilassante il silenzio regna sovrano. Re e regine per una notte. Complimenti ai padroni di casa.. dovete visitare Cremona ? Bhe questo è il posto giusto .

En visite pour la première fois à Crémone nous avons fait le choix de nous rendre dans ce Palais situé à 10 mns à pied du centre ville (20 minutes à pied de la gare). Echange par mails avant notre venue avec Michela que nous appelons à notre arrivée pour ouverture du portail menant à une cour intérieure servant de parking (gratuit). Accueil et visite assurée par le sympathique Roberto qui est notre correspondant sur place. Dommage le petit déjeuner n'est pas proposé mais réfrigérateur dans la chambre avec bouteilles d'eau offertes et bouilloire et machine à café avec capsule et sachets de thé. Nous avions fait le choix de la Suite Liberty située à gauche en entrant dans le palais. Endroit exceptionnel dont nous conserverons un excellent souvenir. Cependant par temps de pluie, la chambre et la pièce attenante reste très sombre avec obligation en plein jour de mettre la lumière. Salle de bain avec douche à jets et musique. TV écran plat avec uniquement des chaînes italiennes. Roberto nous a prêté un parapluie vu le temps particulièrement pluvieux lors de notre visite fin octobre. Pas de coffre fort. Literie correcte. Au cours de notre séjour nous avons dîné dans un restaurant tout proche "Osteria degli archi" (parfait) et petit déjeuner près du dôme à "Il salotto cremonese" (passable). Roberto nous a offert du parfum d'ambiance qui nous rappelle le lieu. Nous recommandons cet endroit même si après avoir testé, nous avons trouvé le prix un peu élevé.
